Ch. 24 - A Few Years Later

About 2 years had passed since Y/N had woken up, and had now just finished his mandatory military service. Things for BTS were now calming down more, Jin was about to finish his military service, Yoongi and Namjoon were halfway done with theirs, and Hoseok and Jimin were getting ready for theirs soon. 

Y/N's P.O.V. 

It was now early December, and Y/N was out Christmas shopping for TXT and BTS. He had stayed in contact with his group, but had begged them to not let BTS know, specially Jungkook. He was going through a self discovery journey, a journey on how to truly love himself. He had always put everyone before him, he always cared for other people, but never really cared of himself as much.

He let out a small sigh before looking at his reflection in one of the store windows. He hated having his hair so short, but now that he was done with the army, he could let it grow out again. He smiled softly looking at himself and finally saying, I'm truly happy and excited to see myself. He slowly grabbed a hat from his pocket, and put it on. He continued to walk until he started noticing a few snowflakes coming down.

"The first snow of the season" Y/N mumbled as he slowly extended his arm, opening his hand and letting a snowflake fall on his hand. He smiled softly as he closed his hand forming a small fist. He nodded to himself before quickly turning around, and bumping into someone. "I'm so sorry !" Y/N apologized as he slowly rubbed his head, and quickly got up, only to freeze when he noticed who it was 

"Jungkook..." Y/N mumbled softly as he looked at the taller male

Jungkook's P.O.V. 

Jungkook had decided to go out for a walk, he needed to not be home alone. He needed some interaction with other people. Once the members one by one started to go for their military service, they all decided it was time for them to get their own place. However things like that were hard when you are used to dealing with six other people all the time. Jungkook didn't like it at all. 

So he went out for a walk, to get his mind off of everything. As he walked, he noticed it started to snow. He was about to take a selfie, when someone bumped into him. He stumbled back a few steps while the shorter male fell on his butt. He quickly looked down, and froze when he saw Y/N. 

Jungkook couldn't help but smile, even more when he heard the other calling his name. He quickly pulled him into a tight hug, enjoying the warmth of his body. Jungkook couldn't help but shed a few tears as he felt the other hug him back. To him it felt like a miracle, randomly encountering the love of his life during the first snow of the season. It looked like it was a sign to him.

"I missed you" Jungkook whispered as he held onto Y/N tightly 

"I missed you too, hyung" Y/N smiled softly as he buried his face on Jungkook's warm chest 

"Hyung huh? I finally earned that name?" Jungkook spoke softly as he slowly let go of Y/N 

Y/N chuckled softly "Well, the past is the past, but the feelings are still there" Y/N smiled

Jungkook smiled widely, the biggest smile anyone had seen in a long time. "Hey, how about we walk back to my apartment, and talk and stuff" Jungkook asked smiling still 

"Oh your apartment? You moved out?" Y/N asked "But yes, I'd like that" 

"Yes! and after everyone started going into the army, the dorms started to become more empty, and it was just depressing" Jungkook explained "And sweet, follow me" 

Jungkook noticed as they walk, that Y/N had been staring at him. "You can take a picture, It'll last longer" Jungkook smirked all cocky before turning to look at Y/N 

Y/N face got all red, and he turned to look straight aheand. Jungkook just chuckled, walking next to Y/N, slowly reaching for Y/N's hand and holding. His heartbeat was racing like never before, but he was happy Y/N didn't pull his hand away. They walked quietly, enjoying each other company until they finally arrived at Jungkook's apartment. 

They both slowly took off their shoes, and jackets hanging them on the coat rack. "So would you like to drink anything? Tea? Coffee? Hot Chocolate?" Jungkook questioned as he walked into the small kitchen 

"Warm tea would be nice" Y/N spoke softly as he followed Jungkook into the kitchen "So how does it feel to finally be an adult" Y/N teased Jungkook  

Jungkook quickly turned around, and chuckled "Well, it feels great that you are back" He said smiling softly as he walked closer to Y/N. "I know we've barely talked, and we never really acted like a couple, but can I kiss you ?" Jungkook asked softly as he stared deep into Y/N's eyes 

Y/N's face was red at the question, but he nodded softly and as soon as Jungkook was given permission he leaned in closer, clashing his lips against Y/N's. They slowly kissed, Y/N wrapping his arms around Jungkook's neck, and Jungkook's hands on Y/N's waist pulling him closer. Soon there was no gap in between them. Just there clothed bodies touching one another. 

The kiss quickly turned from an innocent kiss, to a passionate one filled with lust. And as much as Jungkook wanted to pick up Y/N, and throw him on his bed, he didn't want to make the same mistakes as before. 

"S-Should we go to my room?" Jungkook whispered as he slowly pulled away from the kiss. Y/N nodded softly as he pulled Jungkook closer for another kiss, only to be pulled up by Jungkook. He quickly wrapped his legs around Jungkook's waist as Jungkook quickly carried him to his room. 

"You have no idea how many times I've dreamed about this night..." Jungkook whispered as he took off his shirt, closing the door behind him. For the first time in his life, making sweet love all night with the guy he had been waiting for such a long time......
