Ch. 22 - Love is A Losing Game

No One's P.O.V. 

Y/N and Jungkook were still in the middle of hugging when a familiar voice called out. 

"Y/N?..." Soobin asked as he looked at the two hugging in shock. It was obvious in his face that he was hurt, and angry, 

Jungkook, and Y/N quickly let go of the hug. Soon enough the rest of BTS was outside, alongside TXT. "Soobin, I can explain, please just listen to me" Y/N spoke softly 

Y/N's P.O.V. 

Y/N was suffering inside once more, but this time it was because of Soobin. He slowly looked up at Soobin who was obviously hurt. "So this is where you were huh ? Cheating on me already with him?!" Soobin raised his voice more at the end 

"No! Soobin I would never cheat on you... I just wanted to talk to him first, and then I was going to come back to dorms to talk to you" Y/N tried to explain "I just realized my feelings for Jungkook are stronger then my feelings for you" Y/N spoke softly, before looking down 

"You.... At least look at me when you are going to break up with me !" Soobin shouted as tears streamed down his face "So this was all fake ! Was I just a way to get over Jungkook !" Soobin continued to shout. Jungkook quickly stood between Soobin and Y/N 

"Calm down, he is already going through enough" Jungkook's voice sounded calm, and strong 

"Right ! because you are the one who got to keep Y/N, otherwise you'd be the one throwing a tantrum, because prince Jungkook always needs to have everything he fucking wants !" Soobin shouted as he pushed Jungkook. Junkook's eyes started to get dark, he was angry, and started running towards Soobin getting ready to punch him, and Soobin did the same. 

Y/N didn't want them to fight, this is not what he wanted. This isn't how things were supposed to go. He quickly got in between the two, receiving a punch from Jungkook and Soobin, quickly knocking Y/N out. 

No One's P.O.V.

As soon as both their punches landed on Y/N, everyone started to shout. Namjoon and Kai running towards Y/N to catch his head, and the rest of the members pulling Jungkoko and Soobin back. "Cal the ambulance!" Jin shouted 

"Already on it !" Taehyun shouted as he walked away to talk to the ambulance 

Both Taehyung and Jimin were holding Jungkook back,  but Jungkook wasn't fighting it. He was just in shock, the words 'I fucked up again' echoing through his mind. On the other side there was Soobin being held back by Yeonjun and Beomgyu. He was screaming at the top of his lungs for Y/N. He was worried, he never wanted Y/N to see this side of him, nor did he ever want to cause Y/N any damage like this before.  

Soon enough the ambulance arrived, taking Y/N's unconscious body to the hospital. Kai, Namjoon and Hoseok went to the hospital, and the rest stayed back. Jungkook was brought back to his room, and Soobin was in the van on the way back to the dorms. Everyone was quiet, back at the dorms and inside the van. No one had said anything. Things turned so somber so quickly, and now one of their friends was unconscious in the hospital. 

Back at the hospital, things weren't looking great. The three idols were told that Y/N had a broken jaw, and had to be placed in a medical induced coma. They weren't sure how long it wold take for Y/N to wake up. It was just a matter of waiting for everyone. 

----- Three Years Later ---- 

It was now 2022. Three years since the accident. Everyone tried visiting Y/N as much as possible, however after a while they all stopped coming. Seeing Y/N like that truly took a toll on all of them. Eventually deciding to stop coming, but putting themselves in the list to be called once Y/N woke up. 

Y/N's P.O.V.

It was a warm May afternoon when Y/N slowly opened up his eyes. First thing he noticed was the thirst he had, quickly grabbing a cup of water next to his bed.  "Where the hell am I" Y/N mumbled as he looked around the hospital room, trying to remember what had happened the night before. That's when it hit him, the fight between Soobin and Jungkook. "Fuck.." Y/N mumbled as he touched his jaw, but it felt fine. "Weird.. It doesn't hurt either" Y/N mumbled as he tried to get up, only to see a shocked nurse "Oh lord, you are up ! Let me get the doctor" She said smiling, before rushing out of the room. "Why does she need to get the doctor" He mumbled as he sat at the edge of the bed waiting 

Within a few minutes the doctor walked into the room, and greeted Y/N "Good afternoon Mr. Park, how are you feeling?" He asked softly 

"Uh, I'm fine considering how things went last night" Y/N explained, while chuckling

That's when the doctor's face changed "I see, so let's have a quick talk Mr. Park" 

"Ah sure, but you can call me Y/N, you don't need to be so formal" Y/N shrugged, not at all prepared to what he was about to hear 

"You have been in a coma for about three years now, you are now twenty three years old" The doctor explained 

Y/N was in full shock, he didn't know what to say. He was in a coma. he was in a fucking coma ! "W-What ...T-That doesn't even make any sense, this is a joke right?" Y/N asked in shock 

"I'm sorry, this all truth, if you need a moment to take all this in I can give you that, in the meantime I'll call your friends to tell them you are awake" The doctor explained 

Y/N quickly looked up "NO! just called the company, I need to talk to them" Y/N explained 

"All right, as you wish" The doctor smiled as he slowly walked out of the room 

"I guess it's time to start over now" Y/N mumbled as he looked out the window
