Reid nodded his head. I knew there was a reason that Mr. Terrence hadn't been talking, but I had no idea what it was. Reid knew what it was all along. I smiled a little bit, glad we had figured something out that could link these victims.

"We should probably hurry up and talk to the other parents. We'll probably find something similar in all of their houses," Reid said, quickly leaving the room.

I followed behind, wondering if the fact that Randy was gay unsettled him. I hadn't noticed it before when the victims were gay or when we encountered a gay unsub, but he was definitely uncomfortable with something in that room. I looked back at it as if it was going to tell me what made Reid uncomfortable, but after a second I turned back around and kept walking.

"Thanks for your time Mr. and Mrs. Terrence and again, we are very sorry for your loss," I said before we headed out the door.

   Alpine, Texas PD

When we arrived at the police station, Hotch and the others were already talking in their conference room. I expected that we would be late, so we entered and sat down.

"What did you guys find out?" Hotch asked as soon as we sat down.

I looked at Reid for a quick moment and then I replied,

"We've found evidence in each house that points to all three of the victims being gay."

"Okay, our unsub is abducting single, homosexual men in their mid-twenties to their early thirties," Hotch said, thinking it over.

"Statistically, fathers are more unaccepting to homosexuality than mothers, so our unsub, if he is killing out of unacceptance, is most likely a male. If you look at how the body was placed, it was messy, so that rules out a woman. This kind of killing comes out of hate, there was no remorse or any kind of care put in these murders," Reid said a bit forceful.

I think everyone in the room except for me thought that this assumption was normal. I mean, his wording sounded so off that I had no idea who was speaking. I tried to shake the thought out of my head but I failed. I looked around the room to see how everyone responded to this, but everyone didn't seem to notice. This was the point in which I knew something was up. I had no idea if it was this case, the fact that the victims were gay, or whatnot but I knew that something was up.

Eventually, the thought escaped my mind for a while and I could finally focus on the case again.

"Reid, can you get started on the geographic profile?" Hotch asked.

Reid nodded his head and he got up. He headed for the board, starting to make marks on the map with a marker. I stood up and walked out to go to the bathroom. I had no idea why Reid wasn't letting me focus that day. I was watching his every move and my eyes were almost never off of him. I beat myself up for not being able to help this case. It seemed as if I was the only one feeling this way. Even though Reid seemed off, he seemed focused as well. I laid my fist down forcefully on the sink and I shook my head.

Not wanting to cause suspicion, I walked out of the bathroom and back to the conference room. I had taken a deep breath right before I stepped into the room. I had sworn to myself that when this case was over I was going to confront Reid as so I wouldn't be bothered by it anymore. I took one last glance at Reid hoping that I could catch something that would give him away. When I saw nothing I looked back up at the victims' pictures on the board.

Before I could think about anything, Reid seemed to be done with his profile and turned around.

"Okay, based on the fact that he is dumping all of the victims at the same place and is abducting them at the same bar, he is most likely within 10 miles of the bar and the dumpsite," He said, standing up.

"We still need to answer the question, 'how does the unsub find out about the fact that these men are homosexual?'" Blake said looking at Hotch. "I mean, these victims don't seem to have anything in common other than the dumpsite and the abduction site. Their school and when they went to the bar, it just doesn't match."

"I'll call Garcia and see if there is anything connecting them," I said.

I picked up my phone and I dialed the number.

"Hello my crime-fighting crew," She said playfully when she picked up.

"Hey baby girl, I need you to check out our three victims and see how they might be related," I said.

While she was typing I thought about Randy's father's behavior and why he was acting that way.

"Also, check the victim's parents. If they are related in any way that could be how the unsub is getting to them," I continued.

"Alright, my genius is checking now. I'll hit you back when I have something," She said and hung up.

"Okay, we can already assume that our unsub is male and is most likely older than his victims," Reid said. "Younger people are more likely to be accepting to homosexuality but older people, men especially, can get quite violent because it used to be unacceptable in society."

I could hear his voice crack while he was talking. My curiosity was almost overwhelming. It wasn't just that, though. I couldn't have him exposing himself in front of the team. If he kept acting the way he did, someone else would find out eventually. I was honestly surprised that no one else had said anything. That thought made my mind wonder if someone had talked to him. Or if that was what that was all about.

I shook my head and looked back over at Reid. I was going to talk to him. This couldn't go on any longer. I took a deep breath. I'm not going to wait. As soon as I can talk to him alone, I will, I thought. Then, he'll have to tell me what's up.
