Jealousy

Takagi-San had been off of school for 3 days, and Nishikita was starting to get worried about her and if she was going to be ok. He decided that after school that day, he was going to visit her to make sure she was ok and also to give their classmates some more info about her condition and how long her recovery was going to take. 

He was brought out of his  thoughts by his new friend, the new girl called Akari-San. They had been talking whilst Takagi-San was ill and had become quite good friends. Sitting next to each other had helped them and the fact that Takagi-San was ill forced them to get to know each other if they needed something from the other person.

"Hey N-Nishikita-Kun can I ask you something?"

"Um.. Sure." Nishikita smiled

'I wonder what she wants to ask me' he thought to himself. 'Maybe something about Takagi-San'

"W-would y-you like to go to the park with me over the weekend?" she sputtered out.

"U-uh sure. W-what about Takagi-San?" he replied

"Sure, she can come as well if she is not ill."

"Great, I'll let her know when I go to her house today"

"Oh, um, can I come as well?"

"Uh, sure"

"Great"

'I wonder if Takagi-San will mind if I bring Akari-San to her house. Nah she'll probably be fine with it.'

*TIME SKIP*

It was finally the end of the day, and Nishikita remembered to wait for Akari-San. Whilst he was staring out into the distance, she snuck up on him and tapped him on the shoulder. This caused him so much shock that he tripped over himself and nearly smacked his head into the pavement on the way down.

"Oh my god are you ok" she asked quickly, immediately  feeling guilty for her actions.

"Y-yeah ha, I'm ok, you just scared me a bit"

"Oh, sorry about that. Well anyway, lets head to her house" she replied, talking about Takagi-San.

*TIME SKIP*

As they walked, they talked about a range of things, from what their favorite food was, to who they thought would make good couples. Nishikita had accidentally exposed his 100% Unrequited Love addiction quite soon after meeting Akari-San, as he thought for a minute he was talking to Takagi-San. Every so often whilst they were walking, he would catch himself looking at Akari-San, and she would look back at him and snap him out of his stare. He would become extremely flustered and quickly look away, but not quick enough for Akari-San to not be able to see his red flushed cheeks.

Akari-San noticed this, and she loved the feeling he was clearly displaying for her, and she felt that during their walk, they had bonded enough for her to see that he was clearly a kind person and for her to add him to her crush list. She felt that she would have a good chance with Nishikita as there wasn't exactly lots of girls throwing themselves at him. Akari-San however, had had lots of boys trying to get with her over the week she had been there, but Nishikita-Kun had not been one of them. He always treated her kindly and courteously, and he didn't realize that he wore his feelings on his face almost constantly. She was snapped out of her thoughts when Nishikita-Kun told her they had arrived at the door to Takagi-San's house.

They knocked on the door and heard feet rushing down the stairs. Just before Takagi-San flung the door open, Nishikita felt Akari-San,s hand grip onto his. He was so shocked he froze as Takagi-San opened the door and took in what she saw in front of her.
