*2 DAYS LATER*

It was finally the weekend and Nishikita was walking to the park, completely zoned out, thinking about the latest issue of 100% unrequited love when he realized that he had taken a wrong turn. As he turned back to take the right turn, a girl quickly jumped out in front of him. He was so shocked that he jumped and tripped over his own legs, falling over whilst doing so. After standing up, he realized that the girl that was laughing at him was none other than his best friend, Takagi-San.

"Hahaha, Nishikita you should have seen your face, it was so funny," Takagi-San sputtered out in between bouts of laughter.

"Very funny Takagi-San" Nishikita said, finally standing again.

"So Nishikita, where are you walking to?"

"I was walking to the park but I took a wrong turn"

"Same, lets walk there together"

Nishikita blushed for a second, and then felt guilty as he realized that he was thinking about Akari-San instead of the girl that was walking next to him. He had been struggling ever since he met her to get her out of his thoughts, he had even tried doing a push-up every time he thought about her but just ended up with sore arms.

Once they made it to the park, they decided to play a game. Whoever made it to the other corner of the park first would win and the loser would have to do whatever the winner wanted them to.

"3, 2, GO!" Takagi-San shouted, surprising Nishikita, and when he started running, she was already half way there. This meant that she won and when she did, she had just the right idea for what to make him do.

"Nishikita, because you lost, you have to hold my hand at school tomorrow." Nishikita blushed uncontrollably, realizing that he would have to embarrass himself in front of all of his friends at school on Monday.

"Erm.. ok fine." He responded quietly.

*TIME SKIP*

"Hey Nishikita, that was really fun, we should do that again tomorrow."

"Um Takagi-San, sorry but I can't, I'm going to Akari-San's house."

"Hmm, you mean like on a date?"

Nishikita blushed and sputtered out, "Uh, n-no n-nothing like that at all. I'm j-just going to her house to help her with some of the homework that Tanabe-Sensei set us whilst you were ill."

"Oh ok then. I could help you guys if you need it."

"Uh, maybe, I'll just have to check with Akari-San." Nishikita pulled out his phone and called Akari-San.

"Hi Akari-San," he said whilst blushing. "Can Takagi-San come round as well to help with the homework?"

He listened to the response from Akari-San for a while before ending the call and turning to Takagi-San.

"No sorry, Akari-San just wants it to be me and her." As he said this his face turned slightly red of embarrassment.

After saying their goodbye's, they split up and walked to their respective houses. Once she got home, Takagi-San ran to her bedroom and picked up her phone. She texted Akari-San if she was going on a date with Nishikita tomorrow. The reply said, "You could call it that."

Takagi-San felt the all too familiar feeling of anger and jealousy creep back into her heart.
