Search for Uraraka

Deku's POV

It's been a few weeks since Uraraka found out. She's still avoiding me. Whenever she's alone she stays away from me and when she's with Iida and I approach them she usually walks away. I guess she still isn't really ready to face me.

All of a sudden I felt a finger on my face. I turned my head to the side and saw Kacchan laying next to me.

"Don't overthink. I hate the look on your face when you do that." He said softly. I pecked his lips.

"I'm sorry." I apologized and shot him a shy smile. Then I fully turned my body towards him so I was laying on my side. "How are you still not bored of just being with me?" I asked him and he smiled at me.

"You thought I'd get bored?" He asked and I nodded. "Why would I get bored of you? You're a little bastard and I love you. How could I get bored?" He said. I rolled my eyes at his comment.

"Thanks for that."

"No problem. I might not hate you anymore, but I still like to insult you." He added and I stood up from the bed.

"Fine. If you wanna play it like that then I'm leaving." I said, obviously joking. I started walking towards the door and he grabbed my wrist. I looked at him and he had that puppy-eyes look on his face.

"Don't leave. You know I was joking, right?" He said in a cute voice and I chuckled. I then turned to face him and ran my fingers through his hair.

"So was I, Kacchan." I said and he had a cute baby smile on his face. I sat back down next to him and grabbed his hand. I cleared my throat. It was time to ask him a bit of an uncomfortable question.

"Kacchan?" I called his name and our eyes locked. "Were you thinking about... when we should maybe, uh, tell everyone? You know, about, uh, about our relationship. We said we'd do it, but... we never really did." I asked him and his nose scrunched up and he looked at his lap.

"Honestly, I was trying not to think about that. I-I'm..." He stopped talking and took a deep breath. "...insecure. About my sexuality. And my relationship." He said quietly. I squeezed his hand tighter.

"That's fine. We don't have to say anything until you feel comfortable." I told him truthfully. "It's fine to have insecurities."

"Thanks, Deku. I'm glad you understand." He said as he finally looked at me again. Then he pecked my lips. "I couldn't have asked for a better boyfriend." He added, a soft smile on his face. Then I connected my lips with his. It was a long and passionate kiss. When I pulled my lips away from his he smiled at me. All of a sudden we heard someone banging on the door. "Hide." Kacchan whispered to me and I hid in his closet. "Who is it?" Kacchan asked.

"Kirishima. And I know Midoriya's in there." He said. I then got out of the closet and Kacchan opened the door for Kirishima.

"We were having a moment." Kacchan said, a bit annoyed.

"Well, sorry to ruin that, but I thought this might be interesting for Midoriya." Kirishima started and I was listening carefully. "It's Uraraka. She's gone. No one knows where she went." He said and I gasped.

"We need to find her." I said, talking to Kirishima. I knew that Kacchan isn't that interested in her so he won't want to help. But then he answered my question instead of Kirishima.

"Let's go then before she kills herself." Kacchan said and I looked at him, a wide eyed look on my face.

"You wanna help me find Uraraka?" I asked and he nodded lightly.

"You're my boyfriend. I want to help your friends if they need me. What kind of a hero would I be if I don't help people in need?" He said and I raised an eyebrow at him. "And also, she knows about us so it don't matter."

"Okay, what happened? This ain't the Kacchan I know." I said and he shrugged.

"Maybe you've had an influence on me. Who knows." He simply said. Then an angry look appeared on his face. "Now let's go find her before I kill you and her." He said and I smirked. I planted a kiss on his cheek.

"That's the Kacchan I know." I commented and we were on our way. We went to the main area and we saw everyone there.

"Midoriya? And Bakugo? What were you doing together?" Iida asked and I saw Kacchan blush and look to the ground.

"Nothing you bastard." He simply said and Iida shut up. You know, I like it when he's aggressive. He's a good protector.

"We have more important things to discuss." Todoroki spoke up and looked at me. I shot him a shy smile as a thank you.

"Who was the last person to speak with her?" I then asked and Iida spoke up.

"I spoke with her last night and she told me that she's fallen into a hole of depression that she can't seem to get out of." Iida said. "Then I told her that I'm there for her when she needs me and she just nodded before going to her room. Haven't seen her since then." He added. Then Tsuyu spoke up.

"I spoke to her this morning. At about 6. She told me she hates her feelings. Then she went out without telling me where she went." She said.

"Anyone else talk to her after that?" I asked. Everyone shook their heads. So that's all we have. Then Kacchan leaned into my ear.

"I know a place where she could be." He whispered and I nodded.

"Okay, let's follow Kacchan. Whoever wants to come along." I announced. In the end Iida, Todoroki, Kirishima, Tsuyu, Yaoyorozu and I followed Kacchan. In about five minutes we were at a bridge. I looked around and soon saw Uraraka sitting at the edge of the bridge. I ran towards her. "Uraraka. Thank god you're fine." I said and she looked away from me. "C'mon Uraraka. Talk to me." I begged. She kept looking everywhere but me. I kept begging her until she sighed.

"It's hard to talk to you, Deku. I thought I had a chance, but apparently not. Your intentions weren't the same." She finally spoke up, still looking at the ground.

"I-I'm sorry Uraraka. But I can't force my feelings to do anything. I just like who I like." I said truthfully. "You don't have to talk to me. All I'm asking of you is to not kill yourself." I added.

"I never intended to do that. I just needed some time alone." She said quietly. I took a breath of relief. Then I stood up.

"I-I'll leave you alone now." I simply said and walked away. The fact that she isn't planning to kill herself definitely makes things a lot less stressful.
