Cleo's P.O.V

I woke up with a sleepy nash smiling at me.
" did you think I was cameron? " he asked playing with my hair.
" no, I knew it was you " I said resting my head on my right hand.
he looked behind us like people usually do when they are about to tell someone a secret. he took a deep breath and paused.
I waited a second because maybe he needed time, but he just wasn't responding.
" nasssshh " i said waving my hand infront of his face.
he looked up at me and was tearing up.
" what's wrong baby " I said hugging him.
he cried and cried into my shoulder. I rubbed his back until he calmed down.
I wonder what's wrong. he's going to rip me apart with his tears.
" it's okay nash " I spoke into his shoulder.
he pulled away from me and started speaking.
" I had a girlfriend, and she broke up with me because she was going after cameron. her name was Kaitlyn.. we dated for about a year, we kept it lowkey, and she broke up with me 4 days ago because she was complaining about me being bestfriends with you and she said she's going to become bestfriends with cameron to make you feel the pain " he said. afterwards he took a deep breath.
" so.. only me and you will know, because he will not believe us " I said rolling my eyes.
we heard a lot of laughing coming from downstairs.
me and nash got up and walked downstairs together.
I saw cameron in a secret stance position and I walked over to him to give him a hug.
" Goodmorning babe " I said
he lightly shoved me away and started running towards the patio.
me and nash followed him and we saw cameron and Kaitlyn running around together.
I rolled my eyes and faced to nash.
" why is this happening " I said crossing my arms.
" PLEASE LEAVE " nash said walking over to Kaitlyn.
" why can't you just hang out with cleo. she's your bestfriend " she said waving her watergun around.
" so what, I want you off of my property " he said pointing to the front door.
she ignored him and started shooting cameron with the water gun, but he refused to join her.
" get off or I'll call the police " nash said walking over to her.
I walked over to cameron and held onto his arm.
" what's going on with them " he said standing still.
" Nash and her we're dating lowkey for a year and she broke up with him because im his BEStfrieND so she broke up with him four days ago and said she was going to be your bestfriend to see how I feel " I said sighing.
" well I hope you two get along because she's coming over tonight for a movie night " he said letting go of my arm and looking at me.
I shrugged my shoulders and called Maggie.
" hey can I come over tonight? cameron is having his friend over later tonight. I don't want to get involved, can nash come too? " I said smirking at cameron.
he gave me the " WTF " face and I said
" thanks! see you later "
I hung up the phone and started walking away.
" cleo wait " cameron said grabbing my arm.
I turned towards him and crossed either arm.
" why don't you stay "
" because you will be all over her and I don't need my heart to break " I said starting to walk away again.
he pulled me back once more and didn't let go of my arm.
" why don't you like her "
" she broke my bestfriends heart. don't you listen to me " I said rolling my eyes.
" I did listen, but.. "
" do whatever you want tonight. I could care less anymore.'once you remember me, and you've done the things I hope you won't tonight, don't come to me, because your damn silly if you think I'll help " I said walking away.
I walked upstairs to Nashs room and yelled through the door.
" PACK YOUR BAGS WERE GOING TO MAGGIES " I said walking to my room.
I packed my bag and my accessories, and walked downstairs.
I saw nash waiting on the couch and I grabbed my keys from the counter.
" bye cameron " I said closing the door.
once I looked away from the door my face was facing this ugly creature I have no idea what it was. oh wait it was Kaitlyn.
( guys I love Kaitlyn so don't think I mean these things because I don't 😌 )
" have fun " I smiled and walked out of her way.
I got in the car, as did nash, and we both managed to see Kaitlyn smirk and walk inside.
I huffed and put the keys im the ignition.
I pulled out of the driveway and heard nash speak to me.
" so why are you leaving both of them there alone again " he asked curios.
" I trust cameron, and if he does something bad, I'll break up with him. simple as that " i Said shrugging.
just after that sentence I got a call from cameron.
I had nash transfer the call to the cars speaker phone and I answered
C : hey.
Cam : cleo we are still dating right?
c ; yes
cam: are you mad at me?
c : no i am not.
cam : okay.. do you trust me
c : yes, very much, but if you break the trust I'll never talk to you again. ever.
cam: okay, bye love you.
c: you too.
I had nash press end and we pulled into Maggie's driveway. good thing Carter was here.
