" you really don't like that one girl do you? " Jack asked me as we both sat down on the steps entering the school.
" who Brittany? " I laughed.
jack looked at me and nodded, taking his sunglasses off to continue looking at me.
" yeah... I don't really like her " I said to him looking away, feeling a blush come upon me cheeks.
" what has she done to you " he asked me getting into a 'listening position'
I told him the whole story about what she was with cam, and what she's done to me in the past, and we talked for a while.
It felt like I've known him forever.
" we better get bak to class before the bell rings " I said smiling and getting up.
" orrrr " Jack said grabbing my arm
" or what " I said laughing.
" you can show me around town? " he asked me.
" after school! cmon its Friday, we can spend the weekend together " I said walking inside school.
the bell rang and everyone fleed out of their classes like they were being broken out of jail.
I scanned the atrium with my hand on jacks bicep to lead him through the crowd and over to nash.
once I saw him, I let go and walked up to him.
" Hey nash, this is Jack " I said pointing to the two of them.
nash grew a big smile on his face and he hugged gilinsky very tight.
" man I never thought I'd see you again bro " nash said letting go and laughing.
I let them chat for a bit and looked over to my right to see britanny walking up to me.
I smiled and waited for her to come over to me.
" how's everything skank? " she said passing by me.
I followed her movements over to nash, gilinsky saw them to.
i knew exactly what she was going to do.

I lunged myself at her but before I could get to her, gilinsky held me back.
" don't do something you'll regret " he said as I struggled to get out of his arms.
" She's going to kiss him!!!! " I yelled kicking and screaming.
Jack finally let me go getting sick of my terrorism but It was too late.
even though it wouldn't mean something to Nash, hoping it didn't, it shattered my heart.
I slowly walked back over to Gilisnky and he hugged me and pulled me out of school.
" can we go to the boardwalk " he asked me moving the hair out of my face.
" sure " I said smiling and sniffing.
I stopped in my tracks and looked back inside the school, I saw nash looking for me and Brittany trying to get his attention.
nash saw me standing outside of the doors and hurriedly ran over.
opened the door to speak to me.
" Cleo what are you doing " he asked calmly.
" did you think I didn't see what happened " I yelled
he nodded and said
" Cleo you know that didn't mean anything to me "
I turned around and walked to my car with Jack.
ignoring the screams from nash, calling my name.

" and also, my pet turtles name would be rosco " Jack said laughing and licking his icecream.
I laughed and unlocked the car.
" I had fun tonight, thank you " I said looking at him and starting the ignition.
once I reached jacks house I let him out and he gave me his number.
I drove back to Nash's house and walked inside to see him waiting for me in the living room.
I laughed at how he was posed.
" so " he said slowly walking over to me.
" so " i said slowly backing away.
" what happened today, where did you go with Jack, what did you do with Jack "
" well we went to the boardwalk and played games and ate icecream and talked about life " I said
he nodded and looked at me once more.
" did you tell him you're occupied " he asked raising an eyebrow.
" yes nash I told him I'm dating you and he's just a friend, calm your dick " I said smiling and walking to the kitchen.
" can I have a kiss " he asked me opening his arms.
" did you wash your face? " I asked.
" I figured that's what you'd want " he said smiling.
I leaned in and kissed him on the lips and walked away to the living room.
" Cleo are you really going to leave me hanging like that " he said pouting and following me into the living room.
"yup" I said popping the 'p'
me and nash were mid-way through the second season of vampire diaries, cuddling on the couch and my phone dinged.
Nash picked it up before me and I sighed looking at him read it.
he slowly looked at me and smiled, he set my phone down and hugged me tighter than ever and wouldn't let me go until I managed to say
" I can't breathe "
" thanks for including me tomorrow with Jack, but I'm going on a friendly outing with Brittany.
" you have to be kidding " I said sitting up and looking at him.
" I'm not .. " he said trailing off.
I snatched my phone away from his lap and ran up to my room.
I locked my doors and heard nash run up the stairs after me.
he banged on the doors yelling
" it was just a prank it was just a prank " I got up and slowly opened the door to reveal my teary eyes.
Nash leaned in to hug me as I slapped him in the face.
I laughed and said ' THATS WHAT YOU GET ' running down the stairs away from him.
