I can't take this anymore! Having to hide who I truly am to my family is driving me insane! I hurriedly pack my bag and head down stairs. My parents are out so this is the perfect time to do it.
I open the door and walk outside, shutting the door behind me. I run down the street and stop at the main road. I sit on the bench at the bus stop to wait on the bus. As I'm waiting for the bus, I think of where I'm going to go. France, Africa, Br- my thoughts are interrupted by the bus pulling up in front of me. I step on and take a seat next to a girl that looks my age.
"Hi" She says, turning to me. "Hi" I reply nicely, I don't really know her but, she looks nice and friendly. "I'm Ally" Ally says, extending her hand. I look from her hand to her repeatedly till, I shake her hand.
"I'm Lena" I say, smiling at her.
She smiles back at me and we start to have a conversation until she asks me where I'm going. "Um I'm not really sure." I say, getting a uneasy feeling in my stomach.
What Ally says next surprises me "Really me neither keep this between us but, I ran away from home." Ally whispers.
I just look at her shocked, I didn't notice till now the bag she has on the floor of the bus by her feet. I swallow and reply "I ran away too, want to stay together?" She looks deep in thought before answering "Sure". Ally curls up against the window and falls asleep. I think of what my parents are going to do when they see that I'm gone, eventually I drift off to sleep.
