Chapter 9

Time Lapse to morning
Lena P.O.V
I wake up and feel something around my waist. I look down and remember Alex slept beside me last night when I asked him to. I lay there awake for a few minutes, thinking. I'm sure now that I like Alex maybe even more. I look at him beside me. Alex is still asleep, I snuggle back up to him and close my eyes.

Ally P.O.V
I leave the hotel room and walk back to the hospital. I go up to the front desk and get a visitor pass. I calmly wait for the elevator to come. A women and her little girl are standing beside me, waiting. The little girl looks at me and smiles. "Hi, I'm Lily" Lily shyly says. I smile and bend down "Hi Lily, I'm Ally. " I smile at her. Just then I hear the ding of the elevator opening. We all walk into the elevator and her mom presses their floor while I press Lena's. We reach Lily's first. "Bye, Ally! " she says while walking away with her mom. "Bye, Lily!" I yell back. The doors close and I wait for my floor. I get there and the doors open. I walk down the hall to Lena's room. I knock before I walk in. I see Lena and Alex laying on her bed cuddling and sleeping. I smile and walk over to the chair in the corner. They will make a cute couple. Alex stirs and wakes up. "Oh hey, Ally." he says while getting up. "Hey, so what's going on between you and Lena. " I question. He looks down. To the floor before replying. "Nothing, she had a nightmare and asked me to stay with her." I just smile and say nothing. He says he's going to get some breakfast for us. A few minutes later Lena starts to wake up. She sits up while rubbing her eyes. "Morning, sleepy head." I laugh. She sticks her tongue out at me which makes me laugh harder. Lena looks around the room and a look of confusion comes on her face. "Where's Alex?" she asks me "Oh he went to get some breakfast." she nods and stares at the door. "What's going on between you two and don't tell me it's nothing I can tell something is going on by the way you guys look at each other. ".....I like him maybe even more." Lena whispers while blushing. I squeal and jump out of my seat to hug her. She laughs at my excitement and I sit down beside her. "What about Jake and you?" so she wants to play that game. I blush and look away. "I like him too wow that's weird we both like them and they are brothers! " I laugh, she joins in. She stops after a minute clutching her ribs. Oh yeah I almost forgot. We hear a knock and say come in. "Hey, I brought food! And Jake" Alex exclaims while walking in with a tray and Jake traveling in behind him. Lena's face lights up when she sees him. He sets the food tray down on the bed and we all dig in.

Lena P.O.V
After we all finish eating, I remember something. "Guys, when is the next full moon?" I wonder, worried. "Tonight, why?" Jake responds. No no no. "Lena, are you okay?" Alex asks me, concern in his voice. I start shaking because I'm scared. Alex rushes to my side and pulls me to him. "p-p-powers-s-s" I stutter out. His face fills with understanding. He just hugs me closer as I shake. He keeps whispering in my ear that it will be okay, but I know it won't.

Time Lapse to near night fall and moon rises. Still Lena P.O.V

It's almost time because I can feel them wanting to take over. I wish I could fight it but I can't. Alex has a plan to get me somewhere where no one will know and back to the hospital safely. He gently picks me up and starts running down the hall, checking for nurses. He gets me outside and to an alley near by. I look up and see the moon has risen. "Alex! Go! I don't want to hurt you! " I shout at him. He hesitates but leaves anyway. I loose the strength I had to keep them from taking over and let them. My hand starts glowing with them and I release whatever it was at one of the walls. The wall crumbles down and I keep doing that. After awhile I finally feel myself gaining control again. I feel weak now, I see Alex running back up to me. My knees buckle and I fall to the ground. Alex catches me and carries me back to the hospital. I gain strength when we get back to my room. Alex sets me down on the bed and lays down next to me again like the night before. "When can I live this place?" I ask him "I asked the doctor this morning and he said you can leave tomorrow. Now get some sleep." he answers me. I smile at him and turn over towards him. I look up at him and he looks down at me. He leans down and kisses me. I freeze for a second before kissing him back. We pull apart for air and smile. "We really should get some sleep now Huh?" I laugh at him and put my head on his chest. He kisses the top of my head. "Goodnight, Alex." I whisper "Goodnight, Lena."
