Lena P.O.V
After Alex gave me my birthday present, we went back down stairs to set up for the party. Not many people are coming since I don't have many friends so mostly family. I wish I could invite Jake and Ally, but I haven't seen them in 2 Years, who knows where they are. I really miss them but I try not to let it bother me to much. It's just Alex and me in the living room. "Not trying to ruin the day, but how are you back at home with your parents and all?" Alex looks depressed for minute before replying.

"It's the same it was before we left just worse." he let's out while stopping what he was doing with the banner.

I go over to him and hug him, trying to cheer him up. I get an idea and tell him I will be right back before rushing out of the room. I rush into the kitchen where my mom is cooking for the party. "Hey, Mom I have a question about Alex and his brother Jake." She turns around to face me in her apron. "What is it?" I take a deep breath before speaking.

"OK, so I was wondering if Alex and Jake could come live with us because they are abused at home and I figured since we have a lot of space they could so they can have a better life and start over." I say in one breath. It takes my mom a second to process what I said. "Let me go talk to your father stay here." she walks out of the kitchen, leaving me with no answer. I wait impatiently for her to come back. When she walks back in, I jump up and walk/run to her like a puppy looking for a treat. She laughs at my eagerness. "Well, I talked to your father and we decided that Alex and Jake can come live with us. They will stay in the rooms across from you. But you and Alex cannot be in each others rooms after 11 unless we tell you that you can. Understood?" I nod and hug her. "Thank you! I gotta go tell Alex." I hurry out of the kitchen and back to the living room.

Alex P.O.V
Lena asked me what was happening at home then said she would be right back. Which left me confused on where she went. I wait for her to come back. I can hear talking then silence then some more talking and then someone running towards the living room. I stand up from my spot on the couch when Lena runs in.

She runs up to me and hugs me. "Woah! What's going on?" I ask slightly taken aback by the hug. "After you told me about what was happening I went and asked my mom if Jake and you could come live with us." I wait for her to finish before getting excited. " Well, she said she had to talk to my dad and walked out to talk to him. She came back and told me that you guys can live with us! You will stay in the rooms across from mine. But me and you can't be in each others rooms after 11 unless told we can." she finishes and I hug her again more happier.

She laughs and hugs me back. We pull apart from the hug and I lean down to kiss her. She wraps her arms around my neck when I remember we are supposed to be doing the decorations. I pull away "First, you are the best girlfriend in the whole galaxy. Second, we are supposed to be doing the decorations." Lena sighs and nods. She walks back to where she was working. I hang up her banner that says "Happy 16th Birthday, Lena!" Lena finishes also with the streamers.

We set up the food table together and the drinks. When we finish we have an hour before the party starts. Lena goes up to her room to get ready. I can't wait to show her the other gift I got her. I go into the kitchen to help Mrs. Caldwell. I help her put the icing on the cake. An hour later, everything is ready and Lena comes back downstairs.

She looks amazing.

Lena has a grey tank top on with ripped skinny jeans and black heels. She has on diamond earrings and a black ring. She looks absolutely stunning. I walk up to her and give her a light kiss on the cheek. "You look beautiful." I tell her. She blushes at my comment. The door bell rings. Let the party begin.
