"They say betrayal always comes from those you least expect it from, and it's true. I never thought a human such as Landon Kirby would hold the power to destroy everything my mother built. This school is what holds my family together. It's a sanctuary for people who are on the run from their past. For the past 12 years, this school has been my home, it's held some of my greatest memories and some of my worst.
I hold a special place for this school because it was once my father's home. My father, whom I have very few memories of, including the day he died. Knowing that a human such as Landon Kirby can destroy everything without even giving it a second thought absolutely angers me. But I guess some people just wanna watch the world burn."

"You wanted to talk to me?" The brunette boy stated as he walked into the school counselor's office.
"Yes, I did. Josie came to me yesterday, she's worried about you Kaiden," Emma Tig, the school counselor replied. "Nova came to me yesterday as well, she said you lied to her? She's gotten better at spotting lies Kaiden, based on how many little white lies you told her in the past."
"What could Josie possibly be worried about? I haven't done anything, yet," The boy paused, "The lies I told Nova in the past were having done my homework or not, that's it. This time, it's- Nova cares too much. If I told her I was still hurting she would do everything in her power to make people pay. I had to lie to her yesterday Why are you writing something down? What did I do now?
"Your sister's worried because you ignored your best friends for 3 days, you're acting differently. As for what I'm writing down is my business-"
"And my mother's, and Alaric's too. I was with my mom for 2 years Emma, I know they read the files. I'm not naive, Emma, and maybe I have changed, but I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing.
