"I don't know," Alaric began, "But I don't think we're in Kansas anymore."

Kaiden and Hope exchanged looks, both of them wondering what the hell their companions were talking about. How could they not remember what they had just gone through?

Kaiden sighed from where he sat on Jed's bed, Dominic and Rafael at his feet, "It's not a good idea, which is why I convinced August to come along."

"Despite breaking your heart, you still want to be around her," Dominic said.

"Love makes us do crazy things," Jed pointed out.

"Yeah, you would know," Kaiden scoffed.

"Hey!"

Kaiden and Rafael laughed at Jed's offended face, while Dominic could only smile.

A knock at Jed's door interrupted them, "Ready?" Hope questioned.

Kaiden sat up from his spot, and joined her side, "Let's go rescue Frodo."

"Take care!" Dominic shouted.

"Come back safe," Jed shouted, although Hope got the feeling it was more for Kaiden than her.

"Good luck!" Rafael shouted, "Bring Landon back safe!"

"You two seem close, again," Hope pointed out.
