Her First Date

The sun has risen on Vrithia once more shining bright on the headless hill mansion, It was a quiet morning as Dimitri was making his coffee and Ashbel's resting his head on the dining table and Rose was sitting the table. They all sat down. All quiet Dimitri was looking at them, the air around the room was all gloomy, Rose staring at the necklace that Cynthia gave to her caressing it not touching her food, and Ashbel was looking at lady Mary's picture. Dimitri was sipping his coffee. Thinking that the air was so sofucating he was looking at the piglet wishing he would go outside and watch that disgusting hopeless innocent creature roam around would be better than this awkward silence.

He sighed as he glared at Rose while sipping his coffee, she usually doesn't shut up, all talkative now she's gloomy as well as his brother, was because he separated them, was it his fault for teaching them about boundaries, Rose was about to speak but restrained herself, she kept doing that during the whole breakfast, she finally cleared her throat.

"Umm...May I Go on a Date with JOSH! Aaaaa... Today?!"

The brothers who were lost in their own world of thoughts, collected their attention back to Rose who was blushing sinking into her seat, playing with her food with her plate full, The bother looked astonished for a moment looking at each over then they spoke overlapping at the same time.

"Yes! Of course!"

"NO! Absolutely NOT!"

Rose was looking at both of them confused as in who's words to follow, Dimitri who didn't second guess his "Yes" or Ashbel who yelled out his "No" with hellfire in his eyes.

The brothers started arguing, as usual, Ashbel stood up glaring at his younger brother who had an unbothered straight face. Completely ignoring Ashbel.

"Rose, it's fine, Lily was nagging me about that, it makes me think it was more her idea than it was Josh and yours?"

"Umm...No..Josh he asked ME...I do want to Go...I.."

"JOSH! Ravinton! You gonna let her GO OUT WITH A RAVINTON!"

"Rose why don't feed that pig of yours it's making that annoying squeaking again!"

Once they were alone, Ashbel was still glaring at his younger brother, he was ignoring him putting The dishes in the sink.

"Oh my...You truly! Have gone MAD! You don't care about Rosey! You want her to be bait for a Ravinton to devour her whole! And take her innocence! No, no Way! I'm not having 'The Talk' with her! I'm NOT READY!"

"The Talk?!"

"Yea! Rosey! Don't know anything about SEX! Not Grandma or ME! Told her! We always said once she's older and then again once she's older now she's 16 going 17 and she's naive about those things!"

Dimitri felt like a thunder lighting has stroke his body. This explains a lot he thought, the way she acts around boys back in the Academy, the way she behaves around Ashbel. She was going to be devoured by men it is true, but josh he could trust for sure not to touch her, worst-case scenario, their lips would touch in Pickering manner. Like josh always did with girls. He may be the most popular boy in the Academy always surrounded by girls. But he never smells a scent of a girl on him.

"No need to worry about the talk...she's just going out with Josh!"

"Josh! Isn't he the one who groped her at the Blaze Club?"
