The eastern Vilardo palace was busy, servants were swarming the palace, As Nadiva was reorganizing everything in preparation for her wedding, she already made herself very comfortable establishing her presence into the Vilardo's life.
Valarie was sitting on the sofa groaning out of boredom, Edward walked in the room looking at files for his upcoming meeting, he didn't pay attention to his daughter who sighed more and more to gain his attention.
Valarie got irritated as the louder she sighed the more he was distracted and finally she yelled for him "Dad!" The man sat across from and ignored her, and yell for him louder rushing to stand in front of him crossing her arms "DAD!"
The man lifted his head and glanced at her but then he looked passed her and called for Keaton to get his tablet making Valarie gasp
"Dad! Why! Are you ignoring me?"
The man stretched his ear and had a conversation about the trade and about the preparation for Alaya to move back in here with them, Keaton looked down and nodded he didn't want for his daughter to come in and live here, but he couldn't disagree with Edward he never did in his life. Valarie interrupted them by complaining more.
"Dad! You're not serious! Keaton! I'm invisible?"
"No...I think he just...A-answers when you call him D-daddy...."
"Oh my god! You're not serious! Dad? Daddy?"
Once she called him "daddy" the man gave her a cheerful reply lowering his tablet, And looked straight at her making her blush "Yes?!" But she quickly shrugged and gulped nervously
"How long are you planning on keeping me trapped her?
"For...Indefinitely?"
"WHAT?"
"Aaa....It's for your own good! I'm protecting you!"
"From what?"
"The news! The paparazzi!....From Li..."
"Oh! So my life! Revolved around those fuckers?...Why? Did you say your saving me from lily? WHY? What is she up to! Dad! She's a lair! Whatever she says to you! It's a LIE!"
"She didn't say anything to me..." the man sighed as he recalled that lily wasn't in a speaking term with him, she avoids him and if she were to talk to him she wouldn't give him eye contact, and it ached him, Valarie blushed and looked the other way.
"Beside its lily...She must be plotting against you..." Valarie glared at him and yelled more irritated "Dad! How dare you assume that of lily! She's not....She....will forgive me! Soon!"
Her father was looking at her blankly and shook his head murmuring to himself as he lifted his tablet "Oh..Dear...You're delusional!" She raised her eyes brows and lowered his tablet glaring at him pouting her lips.
"Dad...I'm so bored! How is that fair? I have nothing to do!"
"Nonsense! Help Nadiva with the wedding..."
"I Would gladly do that! But dear old grandma banned me!"
"Banned you? What ever did you do? Dear daughter!"
He asked her rhetorically with a straight face, shaking his head, Valarie blushed and yelled attacking him "Dad! How dare you accuse me of having an alter motive! Other than pure love to my future stepmother!"
Valarie smirked internally as she recalled what she had done so far, when the dressmaker came Nadiva and her mother were excited, Once Valarie walked in, they hid their excitement.
