Valarie was yawning stretching her arms, but her eyes widened as she heard couple of Sepian soldiers approaching and she ran to hide between a tree

Shit! Please don't see me!

"What are you doing? Recruit?!"

A voice called out for her as she felt two shadows behind her, she bit her lower lip in frustration taking a deep breath as she turned and yelled fighting her tears. Nagging like a little girl.

"I wanna go back home! Commander please!"

It was the Raven commander who was lowering his eyebrow and crossing his arms with his colonel next to him rolling his eyes. Complaining.

"If I only had a Shinnie for each time she bitches I'll be able to retire!"

"Shut up! And you val! You know that it's the annual drill! It's important!"

"What! We do that every month! How is that any different.."

"Cuz it's the ANNUAL! Drill...."

"We are literally doing nothing but watch them train! Look! Look at our soldiers commander! They are doing nothing! Absolutely NOTHING! Can I do nothing back home with Rose and Peter!"

"Peter?"

Dimitri asked confused and Valarie eyes widened she rushed cover her mouth blushing but Dimitri continued to speak defending his soldier and looked back at his colonel and smirked.

"Excalty! We like it!"

"Eh?"

"Doing nothing! It's how it should go!"

The Colonel wrapped his arms around her shoulder and pulled closely while Valarie was looking at him with her unbothered face.

"You see....There is an order of things in this base....We are at the bottom of the food chain here..."

"Wow...And you're proud of that!"

"Ofcourse!..."

"Commander? Are you ok with that?"

Dimitri was expressionless before he blurted with a big proudful smile

"Yes!"

"YES? What do you mean yes?!"

"You see this annual drill is actually a competition....Over the years we tried but we always fail so the colonel suggested why even try! We can take it as a vacation time....and get wasted and hit on the few Ravinton female soldiers...."

"Oh my god! Commander! Who are you!"

"A very tired man! A father to that! Come back when your a parent you'll understand!"

The colonel lifted his flask and nodded "amen to that! Brother!"

Valarie smacked her forehead and shook her head.

"Commander! I don't want to see king Ramsey's face!"

The colonel choked on his drink and scoffed "Psh! You used to love being under him! So I heard!"

Valarie's eyes widened and she gritted her fangs her face redden by anger as she kneed him in the crouch making him squeak.

"Augh!! Mmm! BITCH! I'm your superior!"

The colonel glared at Dimitri who just patted his eyes back at him without a care in the world.

"You had it coming! I told you to stop being an ass..."
