Taking him through to the kitchen,
"Coffee?"
"If I can stomach it I've been struggling to get anything down the obvious aside?"
Starting the coffee machine she turns and looks at him to drink him in as if for the first time it's only been 5 years.
"So tell me what happened?"
"Okay where do i start."
"Start from the beginning a very good place to start?"
That comment wasn't her one of his deep throaty laughs that washed over her like velvet.
"Right only you would quote a Disney movie in a situation like this."
Passing him his coffee and giving him a crooked smirk in response.
"Mmhmm and I get away with it."
"Right I'm sure you've been keeping tabs on the news? There was a car crash in London about 4 days ago? The one with a fatality the guy died on the scene?"
Not only had she been keeping tabs on the news but she had been keeping tabs on him.
"Yeah I know which one your talking about?"
"Well the fatality was me, I woke up in the morgue no idea what was going on, how I was alive all I knew was I had to do something to get to you? And also wanting to eat everything in my path. Then bits of my memory kept coming back piece by piece? What's that all about?"
Smiling to myself he finally remembers me after so long.
"I take it you want my full story?"
"Well would be nice to know how this happened to you I mean I've got bits and pieces from the blank spots in my mind?"
"Well for starters that's called compulsion I can make you forget the things I don't want you to remember?"
"I have a few questions before you divulge your life story? If that's okay with you?"
Grabbing the bourbon from the cooler
"I'll answer anything you need me to but you want a glass of this before we start I have a feeling I'm going to need it?"
"Thankyou, first of all why did you compel me to forget everything about you?"
"Ah that memory is still amiss then is it, I had to wipe the fear of me from your mind, you caught me in the middle of something and almost ran for the hills screaming. I felt as if the only option I had was to erase everything of me from your mind. In all these years it was the most heart breaking thing I've ever had to do"
