Love can make you do stupid things.

For example, agreeing to go on a ice skating date with your boyfriend when you have never even put on any skates your whole life.

If you're from a country with no snow:
Or the fact there's barely any ice rinks at all back home.

However, Yeonjun looked really excited when he found out a new ice skating rink just opened near us and he really wants to try it out with me. Plus, he pouted. So, I had to say yes.

So here I am, changing my shoes to the skates provided. I looked at how most people skated very smoothly whilst the ones who struggled were kids, clinging onto the borders.

"I've tried this once or twice before but it's been a while." Yeonjun recalled as he walked over to me,
"Anyway, Y/n, are you ready?" He asked with an enthusiastic smile.

"Yeah..." I took a deep breath and entered into the rink with him. At first, I kinda just waddled into it but then I quickly grabbed onto the border like the other kids did. My eyes caught Yeonjun, who was already gliding around the ice smoothly.

Once or twice?! This boy lookin' like he's from the damn olympics.

For a few seconds, Yeonjun was twirling around and exploring the ice, lost into his own world. The adorable sight of him made me smile but he frowned when he turned around to face me.

"Y/n? Come on, join me!"

"N-No, it's fine!" I reassured him, still clinging onto the border. "I'll just watch you."

He skated over to me and observed my situation, "Y/n... You've skated before, haven't you?"

Oh no. If he finds out I have never been on ice, he'll end the date for my sake. I can't do that to him!

"What? Nooo way!" I lied, smiling reassuringly. "I'm just enjoying the view." I did finger guns at him.

What was that- Why am I an idiot?

"Oh, do you want to join me in the center then?"

"S-Sure!" I stammered confidently, I only lasted a good five seconds of skating before I slipped and landed on my butt. Thank goodness I chose pants today.

"Y/n! Are you okay?!" Yeonjun anxiously skated over to me, picking me up.

"Y-Yeah!" As I got up, trying to maintain my balance. I tried to move but almost fell forward, Yeonjun catching me in time.

"Thanks..." I muttered, he was holding me by the sides, my hands were on his chest.

"Oh, Y/n..." Yeonjun shook his head and frowned, looking into my eyes, "Darling, be honest to me. You can't skate, can you?"

"I've never have." I admitted defeatedly, my head hanging low. "I'm sorry, Junnie, I didn't want to ruin it for you."

"You're not ruining anything!" Yeonjun lifted me up a bit, helping me stand comfortably. "I just wanted you to be honest with me. I'm your boyfriend for goodness' sake."

"You're right, I'm sorry."

"Hey." He held both my hands and gave me a peck in the lips, "You could've just asked me to teach you, y'know?"

"Oh." I blinked at him, dumbfounded, then formed a wide smile. "Ohhhhh."

Despite Yeonjun being such a good teacher, I fell down about eight times during our date. And Yeonjun continued to help me stand up, with a look of fondness in his eyes.
