I'm not even left on seen. I sighed and defeatedly placed my phone on the side. I was lying on my bed, feeling anxious. Y/n couldn't get off my mind. Yeah, I'll admit I'm a little jealous of whoever this guy was but Y/n's happiness is more important than what I want. And if her happiness means not being with me, then that's fine. I checked my phone one more time if she saw the messages but I still got nothing. Just as I was about to close my eyes and try to sleep, the doorbell rang. I was confused but I got up anyway and walked to answer the door.

Who would come at the door at one in the morning?

I looked through the peephole and my heart raced when I realized it was Y/n. I instantly opened the door and I saw her standing there. She wore a hoodie over her pajamas with sneakers on. I was relieved to see her but I was even more confused to why she came.

"Y/n, are you okay? What happened? You didn't text me back-"

But my questions didn't matter anymore when she unhesitatingly stated, "I like you."

I really hoped it was dark enough for her not to notice the pink glowing in my cheeks, "I'm sorry, what did you say?"

"You're the one I can't stop thinking about." I noticed that she looked breathless.

"Wait, how were you able to find a ride at this time of-"

"I ran." She interrupted once again.

"Oh my gosh, you ran to my dorm at almost two in the morning to tell me you like me?" I seriously couldn't believe this all.

She looked down, pausing for a moment, "Was it worth it?"

I couldn't help but chuckled at that, "I just can't believe you think I'm worth running to." I held her chin and gently lifted her head up to look at me.

"I like you too, Y/n." The next thing I knew, her lips pressed mine.
