(A/N) Hey guys! So I've been glued to Wattpad all day writing new chapters. I just have this knack for writing, you know? And I'm still getting the hang of the way Wattpad works.

Anyway, I hope you're enjoying the story. Comment so that I can know what you think, I can see which direction you would like the characters/story to go in?

Thanks again for reading. Enjoy!

I wake up feeling better and well-rested than I have in a long time. I try to turn but a firm body is plastered to my back and long feet are tangled with mine under the covers.

I start blushing thinking about last night.

His lips... his touches....his d... stop Lina! I shake my head and he stirs beside me. I glance back at him, his face relaxed and his hair a little ruffled.

I move out of his hold and put on his white blouse walking to the kitchen.

I put on the coffee maker and run my hand through my hair, reminiscing about last night again. I laugh at myself, shaking my head.

I look out the window and pick up clothes we left out on the floor. I head back to the coffee brewer and feel hands on my waist.

A soft kiss planted on my neck. "Good morning, you're up early", I smile.

"I'm always up early, chula", he buries his head in my neck, "You smell like me. I want you to always smell like me in the morning"

I laugh nervously. "Don't you have a crew of criminals to go home to?"

"Home is where the heart is", he mutters, squeezing me slightly. I turn around. "I'm serious. I know you have things to do"

He wraps his arms above my ass and kisses me softly. "I know. I'll come back to see you okay chula?"

I nod, still stuck in that kiss. "Okay".

He gets dressed and blows me a kiss before walking out the door.

For the rest of the day, I do my homework trying to find information on that cop. His name is Paul Wilson. I hate men like him. I put up his pictures all around my room and finally take a shower.

I put on a white vest and black sweat pants. I try to call my uncle again, but nothing. I sigh and then there's a knock on the door.

Lino. I was wondering when he'd get here.

I perk up and bounce my hair before opening the door to find... Mac.

"You by chance know a woman named Catalina Restrazo who lives here?" he asks sarcastically. I open my mouth and close it back.

"Mac...what are you doing here?"

He frowns. "Cat, we were together for three years and we had a stupid argument a week ago. Did you really think we would just...give it up just like that?"

I cross my arms. "Yes Mac, I did. You didn't defend me when I had gang men in my home a week ago. I could've been dead"

"About that, I want information on that guy. He beat me up!"

I roll my eyes. "Oh gosh, where are the bruises Mac? He barely hit you!"
"You don't know what happened!"

We both argue over each other until we both go quiet. I lean my head to side, he looks contemplative.

"I'm sorry. It's just that I've never been in that position before"
"It doesn't matter Mac. You promised to protect me and you didn't."

"I know baby, I'm sorry. Let me make it up to you", he says holding my arm. I still love him but it's not the same.

I've felt closer to Lino in three days than I have with Mac in three years. I can't see past Lino now, too much as happened.

As soon as I'm about to open my mouth, Mac smashes his lips to mine. My eyes jolt open and I begin to push him off but I'm interrupted when the elevator door open and Lino walks out.

With flowers.

His face turns stone cold and he throws the flowers on the floor.

Oh shit.
