(A/N) This chapter is a reference to TVD Delena's Rain Kiss. I did my little twist of it for CataLino (ship name, get it? *snickers*)
Aibonito, Puerto Rico
We lay under the stars, which were like a beautiful, surreal blanket above our heads. I could feel his heartbeat against the back of my head, and could hear the soft breaths of him by my side. That's when it hit me: Sometimes we are like stars- we fall to make someone's wish come true.
I raise up and rest my chin on his chest. "The stars are beautiful, but I don't see any meteor showers?"
His eyes scan the sky then he blinks down at me. "It'll be here soon, chula."
He's not his usual calm and sarcastic self tonight. He came to my apartment, we ate, made love and then right after, he said he wanted to show me something.
I changed into black jeans and a t-shirt and he drove us out to Aibonito, the place he wants to live.
Something about him is different. He's vulnerable and more cuddly than usual. To be honest, I'm excited but scared to show it otherwise I might cause that rare side to hide back in it's shell.
I feel an anxious excitement to see the meteor shower build up as we hear thunder.
Soon, a raindrop falls on my forehead and one falls in his eye causing him to blink. "It's raining babe, time to abort mission".
I get up and hop down from his jeep, tucking my hair behind my ear. He hops down and fixes his jacket - I untie mine from my waist and put it on as well and fit my hands in the pockets.
Soon, rain starts pouring down on us like a giant shower. I fling my hands up and begin to head to the jeep when he holds my hand and pulls me gently back to him.
"No-no-no wait, this is something you have to see. I used to do this as a child alone, the stars represented my future and my dreams and now I want to include you in that. Wait for it, my love"
I'm rendered speechless and I slowly place my hands on his neck. "Okay".
He rests his hands on my hips loosely.
He leans in and kisses me softly, our lips dancing with each other and soon our tongues sensually move against each other as well.
Then we see a light shining up above and we break apart to squint up against the rain.
I look up, for the first time I feel alive and free. I gasp as they swiftly zoom across the starry sky.

Not realizing Lino was staring at me the whole time with a soft smile on his face. His eyes taking in my face.
I blink back down at him and in his eyes, I feel nothing but love and hope. Hope for a better life we both deserve.
"Baby you missed the shower", I say with a pout. He slightly pulls my lip with his finger then smiles, shaking his head.
"I saw them in your eyes, chula. I saw everything in your eyes".
I feel the same anxious excitement in my stomach and I blush, unable to look away from his capturing green eyes. He grabs me by the collar of my jacket and pulls me into him.
"Promise me this is forever", I whisper on his lips.
He looks in both my eyes and a sweet smile slowly spreads across his lips, "I promise".
He leans in and kisses me, deeply and passionately. In that kiss, we vowed ourselves to each other.
I am his and he is mine.
Forever.
"My name is Ismael."
I smile against his lips and hug him closely.
