I sit on the chair on the small back porch over-viewing the city. I'm covered up in a blanket with a glass of water in my hand, the breeze whipping my hair to and fro across my face. I hear the door knock and Lola's voice echo in the back.

She walks in and doesn't say anything. I look at her and her worried eyes turn soft and she takes off her bag from across her chest and her eyes fill up with water.

She still misses Fabio, of course. I grip the blanket and send out my hand, inviting her to sit and cuddle beside me. Her face breaks in a breathy smile and she sits beside me and rests her head on my shoulder. I rest my head on hers and we both sit, looking at the city. Two broken souls - trying to make it.

I hear shuffling then her voice tuned down to a quiet and calm tone. "You...you have a feeling..?"

I pull back the pillow to look at her, cautiously. Deciding to entertain her and see where she'd take it, "What are you doing?"

"This is me trying to understand", she flips her hair back and sits with perfect posture at the side of the bed, lapping one leg over the other and watching me expectantly.

I stare at her and she widens her eyes, "Come on - we're being understanding - go".

I sigh and lean up on my elbow, looking at her. "It's like this-",
