Wendy knew she needed to talk to Seulgi. She understood Taeil, and knew he was right. Wendy had originally planned that once her internship ended, she would move closer to Taeil who lived on the other side of Seoul.

But now with the babies, she needed to sort things out with Seulgi.

They sat for dinner, and as they finished, Wendy brought up the topic. "Seulgi, I need to talk to you about something serious." Seulgi took the last spoon of soup, and nodded at her to continue. "Well, I'm almost done with my internship, and my plan was, once I finish it... To move in with Taeil."

Seulgi froze, blinking rapidly at her friend. Wendy pursed her lips and took a deep sigh. She needed to do this. She needed to come clean over her decisions, because Taeil was right. She needs to make her own life choices.

"Seulgi this is something I always thought of. You had your life set back then, so I wanted to get mine too. But then all this happened. Of course I love you, you're my sister and I'd do anything for you. But, I have to think about myself too don't I. I need to think about my future as much as I did with us."

Seulgi went quiet and realised how selfish she had been. She not only upset her parents, but she was disturbing her friend's life as well. She bit her lips thinking, while Wendy watched her worriedly, scared she may have hurt her. Suddenly, Seulgi looked up at her, and smiled sadly.

"Thank you for telling me all this. I'm glad you opened up to me. I'm sorry for all the trouble I caused, but just know I'm extremely grateful to you for everything you've done. And you're right, you deserve to live your own life as much as I do."

Wendy moved next to her and hugged her tight, shedding a few tears.

"Listen Wendy, I'm only 6 weeks away until my due date. So, maybe stay with me until just then. I know you're internship finishes in a month, but just till I give birth. After that, you can leave, I won't disturb you anymore."

"No Seulgi, disturb me all you want." Wendy weeped as Seulgi embraced her too. "I know for sure I'll miss you, so always, every day, call me and tell me anything at all. If you need anything or just to tell me you're bored."

"Wendy... WENDY!"

Wendy ran to the bedroom, and found Seulgi crouched down next to the bed, the floor beneath her wet. She took at least a minute before she processed the situation.

"YOUR WATER BROKE!"

She was quick to help Seulgi up and rush to the hospital, and called out nurses to her car for a stretcher. Seulgi's pain was unbearable. She figured it was more than usual since she had two babies, and the doctor did say it would be harder for her.

There was one thing she was upset about. All her life she dreamed of giving birth, whilst Taeyong was next to her holding her hand. But now that wasn't the case, and as Wendy waited outside hearing her screams, she felt even more horrible.

Because while Seulgi was about to give birth, Taeyong would soon be walking at the altar with his new wife.

She looked at the time, and saw there was around three hours before Taeyong would get married. Suddenly the doors burst open, and two nurses first walked out with the babies in each crib they pushed. But they went in different directions, and both Wendy and Seulgi, who had just been pushed out of the room in her stretcher, saw this.

"Why... are they going... different rooms?" Seulgi asked breathless. The doctor pursed her lips looking at Wendy, who also demanded an explanation.

"One of them, uhm..." she looked at her clipboard, "Seohee, is showing some odd symptoms. We've taken her to special care unit to test for anything wrong."

Seulgi was too tired to show her worries, and was taken away to her room. Wendy followed behind the doctor, who took her to the baby room to see Taehee, the other twin. Wendy saw the baby, and smiled as the nurses were cleaning and wrapping her up. When they laid her down in her crib, she caught sight of the name, suddenly feeling bad.

Lee Taehee

Wendy felt her heart break. She now felt that Seulgi was actually serious about what she had said before.

I can't seem to get over Taeyong, and looking into the future, I don't think I can love anyone else enough to have a relationship anymore. This baby is all that I have left of him, Taeyong, the only part of him I'll ever get to hold any longer.

Sighing, she looked as the nurse came back out, and quickly went to her. "Excuse me, what about the other baby? Lee Seohee?" The nurse then took Wendy to the special care room, and she gasped seeing the twin put into life support. "What happened?"

"She's low on blood. We need to supply her, but there's a problem."

"What's that?"

"The mother's blood type is A. However, both baby's got O. We expect it's from the father, but the mother is single as we see. And she can't donate her blood to the baby because it's not compatible that way."

Wendy stood wide eyed, scared out of her life as she took glances at the baby, then back at the nurse. "Well... What is there for us to do?"

"You could let us give her blood from our stock. However, that is a little more expensive, and also, the doctor isn't recommending it since she's still a newborn. The only other option is to get the father down here."
