Seulgi laid in her bed with Taehee next to her, holding her tight as if scared to lose her. The baby's eyes were just open, and peeked at her mother. She tried hard not to cry, but couldn't help the soft weeps coming out. She pulled the baby closer, and pressed her face into the small bundle taking in her scent.

Wendy sat on the couch and watched. This was the first time she ever felt this depressed in her life, as if her own baby was dying. She looked at the time.

Half an hour left...

She didn't know if this was right or wrong, or if anything would happen from it, but she did it anyways, and quietly typed into her phone.

"Please just leave me alone for a while." Taeyong begged his parents to leave the room, pinching his nose bridge in frustration. All they were trying to do was cheer him up, but even they knew it was never going to work.

Once the room became quiet, Taeyong finally let out a breath he had been holding. He couldn't believe that this was it. In a few minutes his life would be destroyed for good, and he already couldn't feel alive. He felt dead inside, tired and anxious, not even wanting to get up to drink water. He felt like he did before, during his time in university.

The time before he met her.

His phone suddenly buzzed in his pocket, annoying him even more. Regardless, he took it out, and opened seeing Wendy's name.

IDK if I should tell you this
I swore not to
But as you're getting married right now, you've also become a father
But you might lose something precious if you don't come soon...

Taeyong didn't understand what she meant. But realisation grew in him slowly, and he finally understood why Seulgi looked so happy all those months ago when she called him to meet.

She was pregnant... With my baby... Oh God, Seulgi...

He didn't think for a second time, knowing that's just a waste of time. He took his phone, car keys and wallet, and ran out the back door of the hall. He drove as fast as he could, the car's zoom having attracted the attention of some people. But he didn't care if anyone saw, he just wanted to be there.

Wendy stood outside the room now, since Seulgi asked for some privacy. She kept the sliding door opened slightly to watch over her, and saw her sitting on the couch holding Taehee, next to the window. The hallways suddenly filled with a loud echo of someone rushing, and she turned just in time to see Taeyong sliding next to her. She quickly put her hands on his chest to help him stop, and put a finger on her lips to indicate him to stay quiet.

Taeyong took a second to breath, before he looked at her questioningly. Wendy cornered her eyes towards the door crack, telling him to peek inside. He took a deep breath, and peeked inside.

His heart shattering into powder.

"I'm so sorry baby. I'm so sorry. I couldn't keep your father, and I can't even keep your sister now... I'm so sorry Taehee. You're all I have, I won't lose you too. I promise."

Seulgi pressed her lips onto the baby's forehead, her tears slowly falling on the blanket that bundled Taehee. The baby was silent, simply peeking at everything around her. Seulgi didn't know if it was just post pregnancy symptoms, or mother's intuition, but she felt as if Taehee could feel something wrong, as if the baby knew the harsh truth of her life.

Taeyong watched in awe, slowly moving away from the door and leaned against it. He looked up at the ceiling, holding in his tears at the sight, when something hit him.

"Wendy, what sister is she talking about?"

Wendy simply motioned him to follow, and walked him to the life support room, where Seohee laid with several equipment attached to her. Taeyong's eyes widened with fear as he pressed himself against the window. "They look..."

"They're identical." Wendy cut him off, and he looked her. "Seohee lacks blood, so she might not survive. Seulgi can't give hers because she's an A, but Taehee and Seohee are both O, like you."
