"Well, both twins are well. No health issues whatsoever." Seulgi sighed as the doctor ran through the tests. It was their monthly checkup, and Seulgi was never calm on this day. "They do have slight colds, but that's not too big. It is getting colder out, so just keep them warm as much as you can."

Seulgi nodded, when Taehee suddenly started to whine on her lap. She looked down to see her pacifier had fallen out of her mouth and was hanging off the chain clipped to her onesie. She chuckled and put it back in the six month old's mouth, suddenly seeing her smile lightly.

Her eyes then drifted to Taeyong who held Seohee, and she noticed how his gaze remained on the doctor's file. "Uhm..." he mumbled, "is there anything else?"

"No sir, is there anything you'd like to know? You look worried."

"About, you know, Seohee..."

Seulgi sighed. She made Taeyong promise that they wouldn't raise Seohee any differently, and look at her as a healthy baby. But Taeyong couldn't help it. He already missed them out during pregnancy, and his first glimpse of Seohee was in life support. He could never stop being overly worried about them, especially Seohee.

"No sir. Seohee is fine. Like I said, they both have slight colds, but it's nothing too big of a deal."

Taeyong nodded and sat back relaxed. He looked down at the baby, who's eyes simply wandered around the room as she sucked her pacifier. He held her hands in each of his, and softly kisses her head, or her small winter hat.

Once they left the hospital, they sat in the car silently while the babies were in the back seat, both strapped up in baby seats. Seulgi looked out as silence filled the car. Her eyes turned to Taeyong, who drove completely focused.

"Taeyong..."

"Hmm." he simply replied. Seulgi couldn't help be dissapointed, and sighed.

"Taeyong, you promised me you wouldn't do that."

"Do what?"

"About Seohee." she saw his eyes, and knew he felt caught. "Taeyong, I agree, we could've lost her. But she's fine now. She's a healthy child, I mean, both of them are slightly too energetic for their age. But we can't treat them differently. I need you to understand we can't give Seohee special care, or keep her from doing activities normal kids would do once they're slightly older. It's not right, and it'll affect them when they grow up."

Taeyong gulped, biting his lips nervously. "I'm sorry baby. I can't help it." he stops the car at the side of a road, and looks down to his lap. Seulgi takes his hand and grasps it right. He looks at her sadly, upset by himself. "I left you when you were about to tell me the most thrilling news in my life. I couldn't be there when you went through pregnancy, all those sicknesses, complications, monthly checkups, I missed it all. And, if I hadn't received Wendy's text, or come right in time... We would've lost a baby."

His voice grew weak, tears slowly pooling in his eyes. "Every night... Every time I see them asleep together holding each other, I think of it. If I wasn't there, if I hadn't come... Taehee would have had no one by her side. And you..." he slowly looked up at Seulgi, "I saw you crying, holding Taehee, apologising to her because I wasn't there, and you were going to lose Seohee... I hated myself, I felt so guilty, I felt like a monster... If I hadn't taken things seriously, you... You would've suffered, and that's something I never want to happen, especially because of me..."

Seulgi held back her tears. She's barely ever seen Taeyong break down in such a manner, and felt bad she didn't know he carried this emotional weight with him for the past six months, plus the year they were apart. He had so much in him, she felt terrible.

She pulled him closer and hugged him, holding his face to her chest knowing he loved it. He once told her before, back when they dated, how he loved it when she held his head against her chest, because he felt closer to her heart, and loved hearing it beat. It was his favourite sound, either made him happy or calmed him, or sometimes helped him sleep.

Seulgi combed his hair as he slowly calmed, kissing the top of his head once in a while. He slowly peeked up at her, and she looked down at him with a smile. "You're here now Taeyong, you've devoted your life to us. You even refused to go back to work until the girls are older. You've done more than enough to make up for the time you lost. And you didn't have to either. You're the perfect father and husband, believe me."

Taeyong hid his face in her chest again, so she simply sat combing his hair, tugging at the roots. Feeling a sudden tickle, Seulgi looked down to see his lips sucking at her upper chest, that was exposed by her buttoned up shirt. Seulgi made a flat line with her lips, sighing in disbelief at his actions.

"What on earth are you doing?"

Taeyong let go, and smiled sheepishly at her before kissing that spot once more softly. "You know I always like biting you, especially since it calms me."

"Yes, but not anymore. We're not young carefree adults anymore. We're parents, so you're going to have to limit this behaviour."

Taeyong pouted looking up at her, "When?"

"Maybe when we're alone in the bedroom."

Taeyong suddenly smiled deviously, and sat up right away. "Then let's give your parents some bonding time with their grandchildren."

Oh God... Seulgi rolled her eyes. "Control yourself. You're so bipolar."

He smiled embarrassed, before pecking her lips. "I'm kidding, let's go home. We'll have some family time instead."

"That's better."

OK, so I wasn't going to post this till I finish the whole story, but this is what I've written so far & I was being impatient to post it.

There's still more to the story, but let's consider all that a part two. So I'll post them altogether when I finish them.

Please wait until then. Thanks guys~♡
