Seulgi refused to leave the apartment, so Wendy knew what to do herself. She allowed her to live with her from then on, and helped her move in. As for the parents, Wendy sat them down while Seulgi was absent, and tried hard to explain what had happened.
"Before she could have told Taeyong about the baby, he broke up and left." she saw the anger in the father's eyes, so quickly continued before he could have exploded. "But, there's something wrong here. I work for him so I know that what he did wasn't like him at all. And of course Seulgi went crazy at first, but after she had calmed, she told me herself something didn't feel right. Taeyong spoke in a way he never did, as if he... He was a prisoner of some sort."
Seulgi's mother listened intently, feeling something off as well. "Are you saying he might be doing this out of force?" she asked. Wendy nodded, and shook her head at the same time.
"I don't know for sure, but it looks like it." they sighed in union, silence falling for a while.
"Well," the father started after a while, "I don't know anymore. Tell Seulgi I leave everything up to her now. I don't care to get into her personal business. I'm already stressed as it is, I'm not going to take part in anything, so don't even bother telling me."

Seulgi felt sad hearing what her father told them, but she decided it was for the best. Wendy had nothing against them living together either, so things were alright.
Except, now Seulgi didn't know what to do about her pregnancy. She was happy at first no doubt, but that was before what Taeyong did. Now, she didn't know what to do. She can't kill the child, never. Her heart wouldn't let her. But raising it herself sounded difficult. At the same time, she thought about her future, and knew she couldn't move on from Taeyong. She gave away all the love she had for a man in her to him already. There was no way she could see herself love somebody else at all.
With all these thoughts, she came to a final conclusion.
"I'll keep the baby. I'll raise it myself." she told Wendy as the two friends sat in bed. Wendy held her hands, grasping them tight.
"Are you sure Seul? It's going to be hard on you. You could give it up for adoption you know, there's nothing wrong with that. And if you want to, you can always keep in touch wi-"
"No." she cut her off softly. "I want to keep it to myself. Wendy, I can't seem to get over Taeyong, and looking into the future, I don't think I can love anyone else enough to have a relationship anymore. This baby," she put a hand on her tummy, "is all that I have left of him, Taeyong, the only part of him I'll ever get to hold any longer. And, knowing I don't want any more relationships, this baby is also the only family I have, and I don't want to lose it either. Mum and dad probably hate me to the core by now, and they have every right to do so. But I'm not going to let it go. It's my baby, and I'm keeping it."
Wendy listened intently, feeling both upset and proud at the same time. Upset because she knew there was no way Seulgi was moving on from that man. Proud because she was being serious and independent about her choices. She moved closer and hugged her tight.
"You won't be alone Seulgi. I'll be the best aunt there is to your baby, don't worry. They won't need a daddy when they've got aunt Wendy by their side."
Seulgi giggled and hugged her friend back, tearing up as she knew she had found the perfect lifelong friend and sister.
