"please carry this inside for me." yoongi handed the younger male a briefcase.
jimin nodded and took the case without question. he was confused, though. what was he even carrying? he never really read through the job description as well as he should have. he didn't even know what kind of company he worked for. what a dumb mistake.
the demon and the human walked inside the building, stepping into the elevator and riding to the top floor.
"what type of meeting is this?"
"it's a discussion between the entertainment companies."
"entertainment companies?"
"you didn't read the description, did you?" yoongi furrowed his brows.
the boys walked out of the elevator and to the doors that practically begged to be open.
"i own an entertainment company, jimin. some of korea's favorite idols work for us."
jimin's eyes widened at the sudden realization. he thought the name of the building was just a coincidence. how clueless could he be?
yoongi opened the doors and awaiting them was another pair of men and one more astonishingly beautiful man on the other side of the two.
"welcome, yoongi," the prettiest one said, flashing an even prettier smile.
jimin and yoongi took their seat around the table and it seemed like the older was having a staring contest with the other men. then, a small voice broke the silence.
"master? who are they?"
master? now jimin was beyond confused.
"the man over there is yoongi and that's his assistant, jimin," the manliest looking one said, speaking in a slightly stoic manner.
"don't worry, jungkookie. we're just talking today," the pretty man smiled. he was blindingly beautiful and his smile seemed to shine even brighter.
jimin blinked a few times, trying to regain his composure as he followed his boss and took a seat next to him.
the men across from him were all gorgeous. the prettiest one had what seemed to be a sort of mullet in a purple-ish color. his lips were luscious and his eyes were vibrantly youthful. his smile could light up a room— and it did. the manliest one, in jimin's opinion, had a very clean cut. his hair swooped over in a perfect angle, exposing his forehead. his lips were thick, too, and when he smiled, his dimples were as deep as the ocean. the other boy— the one who called the men "master"— was so, so pretty. his eyes were like a deer's and his top lip was slightly smaller than the bottom. he had slight dimples, too, but not as deep as the manly guy's ones. they were all so pretty. the older men all seemed to have a different aura about them, though.
"glad to have you here, yoongi." his eyes suddenly flashed red. of fucking course, jimin thought. no wonder they all had a different sort of aura. "and nice to meet you, jimin."
'the man who just said hello to you is namjoon. the other is seokjin. call him jin, he prefers it that way. the youngest one is jungkook. greet them.'
jimin assumed jungkook was the one who called them "master."
"hello, sirs. nice to meet you, too," jimin stammered.
the one with the purple hair— jin— his eyes flashed red. and jimin found himself coughing up truths he didn't want to admit. "you're all very beautiful."
seokjin laughed heartily and his eyes went back to their usual deep brown. "i like him. he's cute!"
namjoon smiled back, but his face fell back to normal as he turned to face yoongi and jimin once again. he was very blank, jimin found. devoid of any emotions. all of the demons seemed to be that way, except for seokjin and jungkook. wait... was jungkook a demon?
'no, he's not. he sold his soul to them, and now he's their pet. it makes sense that he calls them "master" now, doesn't it?'
jimin's eyes widened. that's literally insane. now jimin really was grateful- just like yoongi said before: he might have sold his soul but at least he wasn't yoongi's pet, right?
"we're here today to discuss something very important. i called you here today because there's a mole in our companies. apparently, they've been selling the phone numbers and personal information of our talent," namjoon started, an even more serious expression taking over his face. "one of my talent had approached me and told me that they didn't feel safe in our building."
jin's face went dark, too. who would be selling the idols' info? that's so cruel...
"well, we could always extirpate them."
"yoongi-" jimin whispered angrily.
"what? that would solve all of our problems wouldn't it?"
"no! we have to find the people selling the info first!"
"you let your pet talk to you like that?" namjoon seemed angry all of a sudden.
"he's not my pet," yoongi stated before jimin had the chance to go off. yoongi definitely knew how patient the younger was, but never when it came to something like assumptions. "he's my assistant and my adviser."
jimin visibly calmed down and namjoon seemed to pipe down as well. "oh, well, in that case... i see..." the thick-lipped man almost seemed embarrassed. jimin had to stifle a laugh.
"but yes, it is now within my understanding that we must find these people before we even think about termination. do we have any sorts of leads on this?"
"actually, we have a few suspects from our company," the purple-haired man beamed, taking the brief case from jungkook's hand and setting it on the table. he seemed so gentle... jimin wondered what it felt like to be in jungkook's shoes. the pretty man affably opened the brief case, taking out a couple papers. "these are them. it's a few staff members and a few idols." he slid them across the table.
yoongi grabbed a few papers, rougher than the other's treatment. yoongi seemed to be a very rough man. "i see. how strange. these people are all very close, aren't they?"
"yes, they are." namjoon nodded. "that's what connects them. they're all suspects of this issue. we wanted to talk to them but jin suggested that we talk to you first. you are, after all, part of the big three."
jimin's eyes lit up. the big three? he was really working for one of his favorite companies and he didn't even realize. how stupid of him.
'pick up the briefcase for me.'
jimin quickly obliged and picked up the briefcase he had previously placed between him and yoongi. he set it on the table and opened it, placing the papers onto the table next to the one's jin set down.
that's weird. why was jimin's favorite singer a suspect?
