"couldn't wait," jimin sighed. "well, take a seat," he said, patting the bed. "you can tell me."

"i honestly don't know if i should..."

"taehyung, you know you can tell me anything."

taehyung took a deep breath, but before he could speak, a swarm of insects flew in from beneath jimin's window sill. jimin's eyes widened as he flew up from his position, grabbing onto taehyung's hand.

"explain? now?"

"jimin, i don't-" taehyung began to back up. the apartment was quickly being infested. "crap, we have to go. now."

the two fled the apartment and ran down the stairs, retreating outside the building. slowing down, they caught their breaths and jimin looked like he was about to combust.

"my apartment is being swarmed by flies and you have nothing to say?"

"i haven't ran that fast since before christ."

"haha, funny joke. where can we go...? my house is completely off limits for the time being..."

"well, i guess i can take you to my place?" taehyung spoke hesitantly.

"if you don't want to, i mean, you don't have to-"

"no, it's fine, chim. i always go to your place but you never come to mine. let's go."

"uhm... wait outside?" taehyung asked as he walked into his house, slamming the door.

jimin could hear rustling from inside. he knew taehyung was secretive but this was pretty weird. and jimin knew weird. yoongi was weird.

speaking of which, where had yoongi gone? he hadn't heard him in his head for at least a day, and that was a long time for yoongi. he tried to call out to the demon, calling out his name in his head, but still nothing. where was he?

before jimin could confuse himself any more, the door reopened and there taehyung stood. "well... come in."

jimin stepped inside, breathing in the fruity scent of the house. it was like a strawberry and vanilla blend... positively taehyung. he took in the view and it was so... elegant. taehyung might've looked elegant but he was anything but. it was a gorgeous house nonetheless.

taehyung looked anxious. he followed close behind with every step jimin took. jimin frowned. was taehyung hiding something?

"your house is beautiful," jimin said, shaking away his thoughts.

"thanks," taehyung replied, visibly beginning to relax.

jimin took a seat on taehyung's couch and let out a deep breath. "how do you think all those flies got into my apartment...? and you know how superstitious i am about flies and death..."

"yeah," taehyung chuckled. "i honestly dunno. it felt like some pretty biblical shit to me."

"what's with all these bible references, tae?" jimin giggled, half serious.

taehyung looked like he was caught off guard. he really did look like he was hiding something.

"tae...? seriously, you're starting to freak me out."

taehyung looked uncomfortable. he fiddled with his hands and choked out a little fake cough to bring forth some sort of noise to break the silence. "well," he started.

"well?"

"that's what i, uh, wanted to tell you."

"well, hurry the fuck up, then!" jimin said, growing increasingly impatient.

"i'm an angel," he blurted out.

jimin squinted his eyes. "you're an angel," he said to himself, looking incredibly skeptical. but who was he to be skeptical about the supernatural world. he was literally just hanging out with a family of demon's and their slave yesterday. "so you're an angel."

"aren't you, like, mad or something?" taehyung asked.

"of fucking course i am! you lied to me my entire life!"

"but aren't you surprised?" taehyung looked extremely confused.

"in all honesty, no," jimin rolled his eyes. "i've had a lot of run ins with supernatural things lately."

"what kind of supernatural things?" taehyung asked, quirking an eyebrow.

"in particular? demons."

"wait, demons?" taehyung asked, eyebrows furrowing. "don't tell me..."

"i accidentally sold my soul," jimin sighed. he didn't want to meet taehyung's eyes. deciding to try to change the subject, out of the blue, he asked, "so, what type of angel are you, exactly?"

"i'm your guardian angel, but don't try to change the subject on me! you sold your soul. seriously, what the hell, man?"

jimin raised his hands. "in my defense, i was tricked."

"this actually keeps getting worse and worse. who?"

"well, it's yoongi."

"yoongi? i knew there was something off about him. i could sense some sort of crazy power. he's really strong, jimin."

"yeah, i know, i know, but he's good to me. i think..."

"good to you? jimin, he owns you! of course he's gonna be good to you! he doesn't want you to get your soul back!"

"get my soul- what? i can...?"

"get your soul back, yes. it's possible, but not many people have been able do it."

"then he lied to me?"

"it's what we do, jimin," taehyung said, a cast down look on his face. "we have to."

jimin shook his head. his eyes were squinted with fury and the side of his mouth was beginning to twitch. "help me get it back."

"jimin... i don't know if you really want to do that."

"i said, help me get it back! i want my soul back, tae!"

"jimin, it's not that easy! you're going to have to get it from him," taehyung shivered. "it's dangerous, and if he figures it out, he can do some really bad things to you. he's inside you, jimin."

"tae, that sounded disgusting," jimin cracked up.

taehyung snorted. "it did, didn't it?" suddenly, his demeanor changed, his eyebrows furrowing again. "still, he's in your head. he's in your body and mind. he owns you. he knows everything that you know. you'll have to be careful."

jimin rolled his eyes. "yoongi might be unpredictable but he wouldn't hurt me."

taehyung sighed. "right... well, i might be able to help you get it back."

jimin smiled. "thanks. uhm, anyway, what's that about not running that much since before christ?"

taehyung's eyes lit up, seemingly grateful for a subject change. "it's such a funny story! so, i got involved with some demons while i was undercover-"
