"jimin!"
jimin's eyes clenched for a moment, before he relaxed and allowed them to flutter open. who was bothering him? he just fell asleep! he checked his phone. he just fell asleep... an hour ago.
jimin stumbled off his sofa, walking over to the door and clumsily unlocking it.
"finally," taehyung groaned.
"you smell like strawberries. were you vaping again?"
taehyung chuckled. "perhaps."
"you gotta stop that shit, tae. lungs are meant for air, not for vapor," jimin yawned. "go take a shower..."
taehyung rolled his eyes, "i still smell good, though. c'mon, let's just go sit." taehyung closed the door behind him and guided jimin to his couch. "you look tired, chim."
"god, you have no idea. i'm exhausted."
"then sleep."
'no, you will not sleep. you were meant to tell me in advance that this mongoloid would show up.'
jimin sighed, snuggling into taehyung's side further. he decided to ignore yoongi for the time being. how much trouble would that get him in? probably a hell of a lot, but that did not matter. he was tired, and he was going to sleep.
jimin sighed as he felt taehyung card his fingers through his hair. he was drifting off. he breathed in taehyung's strawberry scent and that did it. the lights were out.
taehyung smiled down at his friend. he sighed, leaning back and continuing to card his fingers through the older's hair.
suddenly, there was a loud banging on the door. this ticked taehyung off. he didn't want jimin to wake up. he bolted up after carefully placing jimin's head on the couch, walking over to the door and opening it slightly.
"hello, kim taehyung."
"how do you know my name...?" weird, taehyung thought.
"may i come in?"
"uh..."
"i'm a friend of jimin."
"oh... of course," taehyung said, opening the door and allowing the short man to enter. "he's just sleeping right now, so..."
"yes," the man smiled, bringing a finger to his lips. "quiet."
he walked over to the dining table, sitting down. and then he stared at jimin.
"so," taehyung started, trying to keep the conversation flowing. awkward. "what's your name...?"
"min yoongi," the man answered.
that name rang a bell. where had taehyung heard it before?
"nice to meet you, yoongi. how- how did you meet jimin?"
yoongi seemed to contemplate for a moment before speaking again. "on a bus."
yoongi wasn't much of a talker, taehyung could see.
before taehyung could ask another question, jimin stirred. the boy let out a groan and lifted his arms in the air, stretching his back and twisting from side to side.
he yawned as he rubbed his eyes, slowly letting them open. it took a moment for his eyes to adjust, but when they did...
"what the fuck!" jimin exclaimed. "get out of my house!"
taehyung was very confused. weren't these two friends...?
"park jimin, you knew the rules! how dare you keep this from me?" yoongi shouted.
jimin groaned, allowing his head to fall back onto the arm of the sofa. "i just want to spend a little bit of time with my friend, by myself. is that too much to ask?"
"you knew what this entailed, jimin," yoongi said, his firm tone not showing any signs of breaking.
"but i didn't sign up for any of this!"
"are you two dating or something?" taehyung asked, rubbing the back of his neck.
"no!" jimin exclaimed. he sighed, sitting back up again and looking at the ceiling. "sorry, tae. why don't you go home? we can hang out later."
"and when is later?" yoongi frowned.
"oh, don't worry about it, minie. i'll get going. uhm... nice meeting you, yoongi!" taehyung feigned enthusiasm.
"yes. likewise," yoongi replied, slightly bowing his head.
taehyung chuckled and pointed to the door, inching away slowly. "i'm just gonna- yeah, uhm, see you! later..." he slammed the door behind him.
and then there were two.
"why did you do that?" jimin asked in exasperation.
"you know why," yoongi spoke. he looked away, now seemingly examining jimin's apartment. "your living quarters are quite bland."
jimin was speechless. yoongi basically broke into his place and then called it boring. "i- how is it- okay, no. i don't freaking know why, you need to go, and my place is not bland!"
"it could use some plants. anyway, you do know why. i have the papers to prove it's so." yoongi snapped his fingers and a scroll appeared in front of jimin. "read."
jimin rolled his eyes and took the paper in his hands, unraveling it. at the bottom was his name, signed. christ, jimin thought.
"i own you, jimin. literally."
"so now you're using millennial language?"
"i must connect with the youths somehow."
"they're not even- whatever. i didn't ever sign up to be your- to be your pet!" jimin spat.
"unfortunately, you did. and you're stuck with it." yoongi snapped again and the scroll disappeared. "but since you like to compare yourself to a pet so much, i'll allow it."
"what? what are you talking about now?" jimin furrowed his eyebrows.
"you will be spending tomorrow with namjoon and seokjin."
jimin's jaw dropped.
"you'll be treated just like their pet, jungkook. of course, he'll be there, too. isn't this exciting?"
"no! they'll eat me alive!" jimin shivered. "i take it back! i'm not treated like a pet! you treat me very, very well!"
"sorry, jimin, but the deed is already done. i've notified namjoon and seokjin. i think this'll be fun!"
"no!"
"i suggest you rest up, jimin. jungkook doesn't exactly have it easy. goodbye!" and then yoongi was gone.
