Crescent Night

Chapter 3

Guhyeon took off, and she traveled to the palace. She carefully examined the servants and looked for the ones that served the princes. Guhyeon then saw a girl with a blue hanbok with a tray heading towards the kings throne room.

"I have to follow her. Shoot, need a disguise though, stupid me," she said.

She then braided her shiny black hair and wore the same blue hanbok that the servant girl wore. Guhyeon followed the other servants into the kitchen and grabbed a tray with tea.

The lead servant gave her a confused look. She walked over to Guhyeon, grabbed her arm, and dragged her outside.

"Hey, I never seen you before, are you new here?" said the lead servant.

Guhyeon gave her a confident look, "Yes, I am working here starting today!"

The lead servant stared at her for a couple of seconds, "Ah, but the thing is, I was not informed of a new servant. Now, if you dont mind, I would have to take you with me."

Guhyeon smirked, "Oh I don't think that would be necessary."

"Pardon me?" asked the lead servant.

Guhyeon closed her eyes and opened them again, revealing her piercing red eyes.

"I am a servant who started just today and my task is to serve the king some tea," spoke Guhyeon with a manipulative voice.

The lead sergeant's eyes were hollow, "Yes, you arrived today and your task is to serve the king some tea."

When the lead servant walked away, it was Guhyeon's chance to finally go to the king's palace. As she passes by the guards, she made sure that they froze in place so that they wont disrupt her plan.

When Guhyeon walked in, she saw that the king was holding his youngest son, the third prince.

"Well, well, well. The heavens are in my favor today," Guhyeon thought to herself.
