"Guys, I have some bad news."

"I'd rather not hear it." Leon says gravely.

I quickly take the communicator from him. Even if I have absolutely no patience for things going wrong, there can only be one negative person right now. "Well, I can handle it, what's up?" I ask.

"We've lost contact with the chopper. Someone must have shot it down, though we can't determine who. We're prepping another chopper for you. Meanwhile, I want you guys to head towards the extraction point."

"Got it" I disconnect the transmission and hand the communicator back to Leon. He doesn't say anything, but I can tell he's absolutely livid that I snatched it from him.

We run across the bridge, and then two large groups of villagers with torches come in from each side.

"What're we gonna do?!" Ashley shouts.

"Hate to say it, but we're sandwiched here" Leon says.

We all run into a building off to the side and shut the door behind us.

"Great, now what?" I question.

"Leon! Ivette!"

I turn around "Luis! ¿Cómo estás?"

"Podría estar mejor." He tosses me a piece of plywood, and I jam it in front of the door. "Small world, eh?" He looks at Ashley "Well, I see that the president's equipped his daughter with ballistics too."

I ugly laugh at that.

"How rude!" Ashley hisses "And I don't believe there's any relevance with my figure and my standing! Who're you?!"

I roll my eyes at her.

"Oh ho ho! Excuse me, your highness! Perhaps the young lady might want to introduce herself first, before asking someone his name!"

Honestly, I absolutely love Luis. He's my new best friend.

"Her name's Ashley Graham, the president's daughter" She says.

"Is she...? Well, y'know..." Luis questions.

"Don't worry, she's cool." Leon says.

I can see Ashley blush and look away. I nearly eliminate her where she stands.

"Aahhh, Nevermind." Luis says dismissively "There's supposed to be some kind of obvious symptom before you turn into one of them anyway."

Ashley gasps and points. "Look!" There is a huge ass crowd of villagers with torches approaching.

"Ah, nice" I say.

"Ashley, upstairs!" Leon commands "Ivette, go upstairs and guard her!"

I nod and follow her up to the second floor. I start reloading every single one of my weapons. I grab my rifle and set it up out of the window. I start firing into the crowd. It's safe to say that it takes them all a little over an hour to finally decide that they want to fuck off.

"Guys!" I run down the stairs "Looks like they're fucking off"

"So, what do we do now?" Luis asks.

"The bridge we crossed to get here is out." Leon says "So, I guess we have no choice, but to keep moving."

Luis digs through his pockets "I forgot something, you guys go on ahead"

"Luis?" I question, but I don't follow him. He knows how to handle himself.

I move outside, stopping inside a lit shed to check what's inside. I find another note. I call Leon over, as there's no reason for him to not be kept up to speed. Ashley stands there looking bored as we read through it.

Two Routes.

Just a while ago, I was informed by Lord Saddler that our men had shot down a United States military helicopter.

There shouldn't be anymore outside interference for a while now.

Unless the United States government determines who the traitor is, they can only initiate very small covert operations.

We must use this time to our advantage and recapture the girl.

The three Americans can only get out of our territory by using one of the two routes.
This is where we will stop them.

We shall make use of our forces to the greatest degree.

We will deploy a large number of Ganados in one of the routes to ensure that they do not slip by us. For the other route, we shall leave the task to El Gigante. Whichever route they take, the agents will never leave here alive. Not with the girl at least.

I look over to Leon and cross my arms, debating. "Okay, so which route are we taking?"

He takes a moment to think "Ganados... those are the villagers right?"

"Ganados in Spanish means cattle. So, it's most likely the villagers." I can use context and just kind of realize that those are the villagers. They do kind of act like cattle.

"Ganados it is then." Leon says "They're pretty simple to dispatch."

"True. Alright, let's go."

Ashley doesn't ask where we're going at all, which I'm thankful for. Not having to explain stuff to her is just so much easier.

Once we make our way onto our decided path, we have Ashley hide again. The Ganados are not smart enough to just think that maybe she's hiding somewhere.

Everything isn't too bad, up until two woman with chainsaws start coming out of seemingly nowhere. I am terrified of people with chainsaws, as they provide you little wiggle room to squeeze by or drop your guard in regards to distancing yourself from them.

They're rude, but not as rude as the dynamite throwers.

"¡Mirad! ¡Las hermanas Bella!"

"The Bella sisters?" I question.

Leon decides to just consistently and interchangeably pelt them with shotgun blasts while insisting that I take on the mob of Ganados while he's working.

"Why does he get the easy job?" I mutter.
