Hey guys! I'm so sorry I haven't updated in a while. I really don't have a good excuse, so here ya go!

Ix was so lost in thought that she didn't even hear him come up behind her.
"Hey there, beautiful."
She turned around there stood a man about 6' 3" looking down at her. He had the greenest eyes she had ever seen, as green as green can be. With blonde hair to go with them. Though he had light colored features he still had that bad boy look to him. The one that every parent warns their daughter about.
Although he had a menacing look to him Phoenix was drawn to him. To her he just looked like he was misunderstood, just like her.
"Who are you?"
She knew he wouldn't answer her. No one talked to her for long. He wouldn't want her to remember him.
"No one you need to worry about for now."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
Maybe she misjudged him. Maybe he was the creepy stalker everyone tried to warn kids about.
"It means I know your secret."
He turned to walk away and as he did he threw something at her. It missed and landed at her feet. She bent down to pick it up. Paper. She unfolded inside there was something written.
'I know your secret Phoenix. I know no one wants you because of it. Meet me by the docks outside of Tresbury at two tomorrow morning. Come alone if you want answers. '
Phoenix was in shock. No one knew her secret not even her best friend. When her foster parents found out about what she could do they would leave.
How did this boy what was going on with her?
Was he like her?
Was he going to kill her?
Ix didn't know what to do.
But she knew one thing.
She wanted answers.
She wanted them no matter the cost.
Curiosity won out. The long walk to Tresbury had started.

After an hour and a half of walking it was 1:59AM. She stepped towards the boats bobbing in the water, down towards the dock. When a figure stepped out in front of her.
"I was hoping you would come."
He took a step forward.
