Rachel's POV

"C-Charlie? Is that you?" I said as I scooted closer to her.

"Ray? What are you doing here?" She slowly looked at me.

I scooted closer to her but the chains kept me from going any further. She fully turned her face towards me and I could see the bruises and blood on her face, arms and legs.  I tried taking a closer look but I felt the chains tightening around my arms and neck. My legs were the only limbs that were free. 

"W-What did they do to you?" My voice shaking, tears swelling up in my eyes.

"J-Just...do what they ask..." Her voice was raspy and quiet.

"W-What do you m-mean?" 

She didn't say much but before she could reply to my question the door burst open and one of the men walked through. He glared at me and held something in his hand. I looked at him and back at Charlie and I didn't have to think twice. He didn't have to open his mouth or cast the object upon me. I just squeaked and scurried back to my corner. I was now shaking in fear as he came closer to me. I felt his presence linger over me and the object graze my chin and move my face so that I would be looking at him.

"If I ever catch you talking with that bitch over there again without orders you will be sorry. Do you understand?" The man's voice barked at me.

I just let out a small whimper and he struck me with the object. I was knocked over and my head was throbbing. 

"Do you understand?" He barked louder.

I looked up at him and he threatened to hit me with the object again. 

"I u-understand." I said, fear in my voice as I looked up at him, holding my head. 

The man tightened one of my chains around my wrist. He looked at me and let a small smirk appear on his face. He proceeded to walk out of the room, slamming the door shut and locking it. I felt my vision get blurry and I saw the small drop of blood that was produced from my head  hit the concrete floor. I felt dizzy and collapsed, blacking out.
