Detective Aaron's POV

The case has been a mess. Every single piece of evidence we got was a dead end and we would be back at square one. It feels like were 10 steps behind. My boss said we had to drop the case. I didn't want to but I have no power to stop it.

Jake's POV

It's been six months since I have seen my sister. I've been there for her since we were little. Mom and dad have been arguing a lot. I have no excuse because I have been lashing out at them too. Stress an uncertainty have been eating at all of us. We were told that the case was going to be dropped and that she was most likely not alive. Me and dad don't want to believe it. But mom seemed to believe and now is slowly moving on.

Rachel's POV

Six months. Six months of parties, drugs, sex. At this point I'm used to it. I'm numb. I'm used to the light being shut off in my eyes. I'm used to shooting up before a client. I had observed Charlie and followed her actions. She knew that I knew nothing about this life. She knew it was dangerous and unsafe. But we had to survive. She taught me the ropes and how to get out of situations without getting in trouble. She taught me me how to survive on my own. I see her less and less each day. I learned in this life that sometimes the people you see, you may never see again. I used to be scared. But knowing what I know now, it's just another normal day on the job.
