Detective Aaron's POV
My team has been working on this case for two days and we haven't gotten any helpful leads. There were no witnesses to the scene and you would think that there would be security cameras in the front of the school but no, after all it is in the rough part of town.
I threw down another folder, filled with papers down on top of a pile of folders in a box that I had went through. Rubbing my head I threw something at the window across of me in frustration. I had been there all night and had gotten nowhere. I was about to doze off when a knock at my door jolted me awake.
"Come in." I said as I collected myself together.
A member of my team walked in and shut the door behind him. He pushed his glasses up and walked over to me handing me some papers.
"Sir have you been awake all night?" He said as I took the file from his hand.
I didn't answer. But it was obvious I had. My jacket was next to me on the couch placed under the big window looking down at the hall, accompanied by pillows and blankets in a corner.
"I can see the bags under your eyes." The member of my team looked at me.
"Alright fine. I have been up all night!" I ended up hiding through my teeth.
The team member jumped and I sighed as I rubbed my head.
"I'm sorry...it's just...Rachel and her family are special to me." I flipped through the papers.
He looked at me. "Well I got the files you asked for. The list of kidnappers and previous kidnapping cases."
"Thanks."
He nodded and walked out. I checked for patterns and similarities between cases.
I just want to reunite Rachel with her family.
