Jake's POV

I left work early to go pick up my sister. Friends wanted to go and see her too so I let them hop in my car. We started driving. I texted her previously letting her know that I was going to pick her up so she knew. I was 5 minutes out and that's when my phone buzzed. I quickly checked it. It was a text from Ray.

Rachel:"Where are you?"

The light turned green so I couldn't respond right away. So I had one of my friends text back for me.

"I'm on my way."

Rachel: "Wait really? Some of your friends are here to pick me up. They said you sent them."

My friend showed me the text and that's when I started to worry. All of my friends were with me. I pulled over and took the phone, replying back.

"Ray, all of my friends are with me in the car atm. What are you talking about?"

I anxiously waited for her to respond but she didn't. That's when my  spidey-senses kicked in graciously passed down from our father. I called her but it went straight to voicemail. My friends looked at me worried as well.

"Sis? Sis pick up."

I started driving again. Going faster than the speed limit while I kept texting my sister.

"Hang tight I'm almost there."

"Are you ok?"

"Answer me!"

"SIS! ANSWER ME! ARE YOU ALRIGHT?"

At this point I started flooring it. I was panicking. She wasn't answering any of my texts. We arrived at the school two minutes later. Me and my friends got out of the car. No one was there. No teachers, no students. It was just us. I started shouting my sister's name.

"Spread out." I told my friends.

They nodded and proceeded to spread out. We looked for any signs of Rachel. My friends all thought of Rachel as their little sister since we all grew up together. They would help me take care of her when my parents weren't home. So we were all worried and wanted to find her.

"Jake I found something!" Noah, one of my best friends shouted as he waved me over.

Me and the rest ran over. My heart sank. In the bushes was Rachel's phone. I picked the phone up and looked at it.

"This is her phone..." I said as I turned it over. The screen cracked and my friends huddled around me. Her phone turned on. The lock screen was a picture of her and me when we were at the fair.

"We need to go to the police." Noah suggested.

"Y-Yeah. We should."

"I'll drive." Noah said as I gave him the keys to the car.

Well all hopped in and headed to the station.  We parked and entered. I walked straight to the counter where I was met by a woman behind the desk.

"How may I help you?" She said, her fingers making the keyboard click.

"I would like to make a missing person's report."

"Alright. Who is this regarding sir?" She looked up at me.

Just as I was about to answer I heard a familiar voice. "Jake Parker?"

I turned around to see Detective Aaron. He was a detective and a family friend. I smiled  in relief as I went to shake his hand. He smiled and looked at me and my friends, noticing that my sister  wasn't with us.

"Looks like you brought the whole squad except Rachel. How is she doing these days?" Aaron said.

"W-Well that's why we're here sir." Noah said to Aaron.

Aaron raised an eyebrow and looked at me. "Is...everything alright?"

"Rachel...." I felt a lump form in my throat. "Rachel's missing."

Aaron's eyes got wide as he looked at us and nodded. He then looked at the secretary that I was just speaking to and told her that he's got this case. She nodded and went back to work. He signaled us to follow him. We did. We walked down a long hallway before we got to his office and he took a seat.

"When did she go missing?"

"T-Today." I answered.

"Time?" Aaron asked.

"Around 3:15 and 3:30. That's when I stopped getting her messages."

"You texted her?" He said as he took notes.

"Yes. She asked where I was and I told her I was on my way to pick her up. She said that there were two guys claiming that they were my friends and that I sent them to pick her up."

"Did you?"

"No. I told her all of my friends where with me and that's when she stopped replying. When we got there there was nobody there. Rachel was gone and we found her phone in the bushes." I took it out and handed it to Aaron.

He took it and looked at it before writing something down. "This might sound silly considering your family but can you think of anyone who might want to hurt Rachel?"

I shook my head. "Not at the moment. Most criminals don't even know that my sister exists."

"Ok. Well go home and contact Peter and Felicia. Tell them to contact me and if you think of anyone give me a call alright?"

"I will." I nodded as my eyes got misty.

"Don't worry. We'll find her. And I'll try to keep this out of the press." Aaron gave me a reassuring but worried smile and a pat on the shoulder. "Stay safe Jake."

I nodded. My friends and I walked out of his office, back down the hallway and out of the station.

Nightfall came and I had already called Peter and Felicia who had contacted Aaron. My friends had decided to stay with me, considering how distressed I was. All of the sudden a thought had popped into my head. Charlie. Didn't Rachel say that Charlie hadn't shown up to school? Maybe she had something to do with this. I contacted Aaron and told him about my sister's friend. He thanked me and hung up. I sat back down on the couch and looked at a pictures of me and my sister that I had in my phone.

"Don't worry...we'll find you sis."
