~ Kayla POV ~

It's been a good 20 minutes since I've ran away and I've been roaming around cold. Plus every time I passed someone, they either gave me dirty looks or they were staring WAY TOO HARD.

I make it to a little coffee shop and I walk inside. There's barely anyone inside and the people that are here seem to at least be in their 70s and above. An older guy, no younger than 30, then greets me and has a shocked look on his face.

"Sweetie, are you ok? Let me get you a blanket and some hot coffee. Come sit down in my office." He offers and leads the way. I follow behind him and rub my arms.

We make it inside a cozy office room that has a large L couch and a huge tv along with a little bathroom and kitchen. I sit down in on the couch and he hands me a blanket. I gladly take it and wrap myself basically like a burrito.

"I'll go make the coffee for you. The tv remote is next to you and you can watch whatever you want." He says in with his hard Russian accent. I smile and thank him before turning the tv on and scrolling through some shows. I can't understand what it says but this one movie looks interesting.

I click on it and it's indeed romance. I put on English subtitles and I get comfortable while watching it. So far a woman name Rose and her husband Drake has been through a tragic death of their first daughter. The husband then leaves his wife and she is devastated.

The guy walks in and chuckles at me tearing up. "I swear people have issues. But here's your coffee. I made it the way I usually make it." He hands it to me and sits down next to me.

I take it out of his hand and smell vanilla and a hint of caramel and I moan. He stiffens you at first, but then relaxes and leans back on the couch. I take a sip and it tastes so good. I smile at him and nod yes.

"This is so good. What do you use?" I ask while taking more sips. He chuckles and sits up.

"I own a coffee shop. And thank you. Now can you tell me why you were running around in a long sleeve shirt and shorts?"

I put down the now empty mug and sigh. "I was running away from someone I know. I didn't exactly come here freely."

He looks at me with shock and pauses the movie. "What does that mean? Wait, is your name Kayla by any chance?" He asks me. Now I get creeped out.

"Who are you? What's your name?" I ask trying to get him off of me. He just looks at me. "My name is Andrew and I know Addison. We are cousins. When he came down here, all he could ever talk about is this girl name Kayla. I'm assuming that's you?"

I nod and sigh. He then grabs me and hugs me more in a feminine way? Then it clicks. Is he gay? Bi? He pulls away and smiles. "Don't worry, I won't try any funny business with you. Besides, I only go for the guys." Ok so he is gay.

I smile and pat his shoulder. "That's ok I didn't think you were pulling anything. Besides, I just want to be friends. If you mind me asking, what would he say about me?"

He smirks and laughs a little. "Oh man, you're in for a story." I laugh and beings telling me. As he is telling me I think about one thing. Can I trust Andrew and will he tell Addison where I am?

~ Addison POV ~

My tracker goes to the last place I want it to be and it's at my cousin Andrew's house. Don't get me wrong he is a cool guy to hang with, it's just that since my aunt and I don't get along, it's hard to hang with him.

I make it up to his doorstep and I sigh before knocking lightly. I hear footsteps come closer and I take a deep breath. The door creeks open and there stood my cousin. He opens the door a little more and smiles.
