first of all, i'd like to apologise for not having shared any information as to why i didn't update this story, and have left it for so long. three days after i posted chapter ten of this story, some personal issues got in the way of me writing anything for a very long time. if you want more details, message me and i will willing reply.

secondly, this story. i've reread it - every word - and although many of you enjoy it, i honestly find it slightly horrifying. it's poorly written and poorly planned, mainly because i had no plans for this story and just did it to waste some time, and because i love peaky blinders. it's nowhere near the best i could do, and for that reason, i won't be writing anymore for 'rescue me'. 

i will not be taking the story down, at least not for the forseeable future, but i will not be updating it, or changing anything about how it currently is. i'm incredibly sorry to everyone that has read this story or will read it, only to be disappointed, but that is what i have decided.

thank you, as well, to everyone that has read this story. it went much further then i expected. you all deserve a much better ending, however, you probably won't get it. i am incredibly sorry.

i will continue to write, and have plans for a book currently, though it is not based upon peaky blinders or any other form of media - it's an original story.
