(chapter 4) The big anouncement

•••Peeta pov•••

"Katniss?" I yelled getting more worried every second.
"KATNISS, WHERE ARE YOU?"
I yelled again.
"Over here. Just a little issue with the cookies."
"Are you ok?" I asked her very concerned.
"Ya were ok don't worry."
"You scared me half to death. Don't you ever do that again." I said as I pulled her into a hug.
"Maybe I should just let you do the cooking from now on."
"Ya I think that is a good idea." I said back to her.
3 seconds later Willow walked around the corner.
"We were trying to bake like you daddy."
I looked over and saw Rye covered in flour.
"Come on let's get you cleaned up." I told Rye as I dragged him to the bathtub.
As I grabbed the shampoo Rye I said,"Dad how do you cook so good?"
"Well, I was raised in a bakery, bakings in my blood." I said grinning, "you want me to teach you how to cook?" I asked
"Would you?"he said as I scrubbed
his hair with shampoo."Of corse." I answered.

"Peeta!"I yelled upstairs "Guests are coming!Is Rye dressed?"
"Where are his clothes?" He yelled from upstairs. "They're Laying on his bed."
"Mom who all is coming?" Willow asked. I paused."Mom are you ok?" "Yes" I said back to her.
"So who is coming?"she said again.
I sighed "Gale, Haymitch, Effie, Annie and fin." (Btw-fin is Annies son)
"How old is he?" she asked
"7" I replied.
"Is he cute?"she said surprising me. "Yes he-"she cut me off "nice?"she asked."yes now go get your dress on ok willow?" I said "ok." she said back.
10 minutes later she walks down the stairs in a light pink dress.
"You look beautiful." I told her as she walked closer.
"Thanks mom." she answered back blushing.
Peeta walked down the stairs carrying Rye in one arm and his coat in the other, when all of the sudden the phone rang.
"I'll get it." Peeta said walking to the phone.
"It's Haymitch, their on their way over."
"Ok, Willow will you set the table please?"
"Sure." she said making her way to the table.
The door bell rang "PEETA, Effie and Haymitch are here." I yelled
"Ok be right there."
"Effie, it's been a long time"
I said "not long enough" Haymitch replied
"Hi Haymitch"
"Hey, sweetheart." he replied.
"Come on in." I said opening the door wide enough for them to come through. "How have y'all been?" I asked walking them to the couch.
"Great, we have really good news."
"What is it?" Peeta asked sitting down next to me.
"Ok well...were getting married."
Effie said excitedly
"Oh my gosh congratulations." I said giving Effie a big hug.
"So when's the wedding?" Peeta asked curiously.
"Were not sure were thinking in about 6 months." Haymitch responded.
"Well let us know if you need us to help out with anything." I said
