We all set off to board the train, making certain that we have our possessions and that we also have all our children. Because for some odd reason Peeta and I always succeed to loose Rye almost every time we go to the train station.
"One, two, three, four, five... where's Rye?" I ask concerned
Did I really loose my child again?
We all look around quickly hoping to find him soon so we don't miss our train.
"Mommy?" A voice screamed from it felt like a couple feet away.
I look back to see a scared and confused Rye.
"Rye...What are you doing? I told you to stay with me. Where did you go?"
I ask concerned.
"Well..." he starts.
"Well?" I say looking down at him and his tiny figure.
"You told me there was Ice cream so... I went to find it." he explains and I finally start to realize that I need to watch what I say around them and maybe need to think things through a little more before we decide to go on a big trips like this.
"No baby, the ice cream isn't here. it's in district 4, we haven't even gotten on the train yet."
Annie gasps and says "Guys THE TRAIN! Hurry we need to go get on before it leaves."
"Ok how much time do we have?" I question.
Peeta looks down at his watch then quickly says "about 3 and a half minutes, we better hurry."
We all start running, almost sprinting to where the entrance is to board he train. I grasp Willows hand tightly and Peeta with the other then look over to see Rye in Peetas arms.
It's probably a good thing anyway, Rye can't run that fast and we need to go faster than he would be able to.
2 minuets pass and we finally reach the boarding station.
"Ahhhh...we made... it!" I say gasping for air.
One at a time we walk onto the train, give the train attendant our ticket and make our way to our rooms that well be staying in tonight.
We have to spend the night in the train because District 4 is so far away that it takes us almost 2 days to get there. Were just lucky that this time it won't take us as long.
The door opens to show our room filled with a nice scent and flowers on either side of the room. their is a king sized bed in the far corner of the room and a bunk bed on the closest side to the door. A T.V at the front of the bedroom and then some drawers fill in the empty space. Overall a really nice, large area and good quality so I don't think well have any trouble settling in. And I also don't think we will have and trouble with the kids either.
Right away Rye runs over to the bunk bed and jumps onto the bottom bunk.
"I call this one!" He yells loudly.
"But I wanted the bottom bunk!" Willow yells at him.
"I got here first!" Rye yells.
Eventually Peeta has to break them up and then I tell Rye to take the bottom bunk because he sometimes rolls off the bed and we wouldn't want him getting hurt.
"Fine, this bunk is better anyway!" Willow states laying her feet along the side of the top bunk.
Maybe it won't be totally okay with the kids. But oh well it'll do for the next day and a half.
