Always?

(Chapter 9)

•••Peeta pov•••

I open the door to see Gale with a kind of scared/worried look on his face.
"What's wrong Gale?" Katniss says waking up behind me.
gale replies quickly... "I just saw Rye outside by the school, he was walking down the sidewalk, but I'm not sure where he thought he was going."
"There's no way, he was just with us less than 10 minutes ago." Katniss says very startled. I look back to see Willow but no Rye to be seen.
"oh no."
I grab Willow and we hop in the car.
I start the engine and we practically speed to the school.
I look all over but there is no sign of Rye.
We decide to go the back way, because maybe he decided he wanted to go on the playground.
As we drive slowly I notice a little chubby blonde boy walking into the school.
"THERE HE IS!" Willow yells.
We get out of the car and sprint towards him.
"Rye what were you thinking?" Katniss yells relieved.
"Well, I wanted to go learn." he says In a soft innocent voice.
We start to laugh and then tell Rye that he can't learn until Monday when he goes back to school.
"You almost have us a heart attack." I say as we all get bak into the car.

•••Katniss pov•••

As we drive back. Willow asks if we could go out to eat tonight.
"Sure, I say why not." I look over at Peeta and he nods his head as to say, sure sounds good.
We pull up to the restaurant and walk in to be overtaken by amazing smells.
The waiter seats us down and we order.
The food comes in the next 15 mins and the food smells so good that we gobble it up quicker than a cheetah.
Then we drive back home.
Overall this has been a great night, besides the fact that we almost lost Rye.
We put the kids to bed and Peeta and I sit down on the couch.
