Sky was a very adventurous person. He was also very privileged as he was the prince of the Eyes. Unlike everyone else, he got tutoring on how to use his powers at a young age, whilst everyone else had to figure it out for themselves. Mauve on the other hand, he was a shy, quiet person who also tries to get to the best possible outcome, whether that's school, or just a day out. He always had a plan.  Sky was very fond of Mauve. They were like brothers. They spent the summer back home in the Colour kingdom. They would go around the kingdom creating havoc as they go, discovering new hiding spots and would watch the sunset and sunrise with the Yellows. They would go horse riding with the Greens and sometimes climbed trees with the Pinks. But Sky was seen less and less as the years went by. His father kept asking him to practise his royal duties. He hated it because that meant he was away from Mauve. He decided enough was enough and didn't come to the throne room anymore to report. Instead, he snuck out and spent the rest of the summer with Mauve and his family. His father promised not to say anything. But soon, summer was over, they had to go back to school. They changed back into their human disguise and went back into their bodies. Seems like they also had a great time together.

On their first day back in the human world, they come back to see a new student in Year 11. A girl, who seems very shy, but very friendly. Mauve tries to read her mind to see what's her first impressions of everyone. He tries and tries, but fails to do so. He talks to Sky telepathically,

"Hey, can you help me, I can't read her mind?".

"Haha, that's because your new to all of this, let the professional show you how its done." Said Sky smugly. He tries, but fails too.

"Is this some sort of prank?" Sky asks, baffled with a scoff.

"No, I'm serious dude. Maybe she's just a Pink or something?".

"No, Pinks aren't that strong to resist our power, plus my dad would've told me if there was a new person in our school." Sky says, still trying hard to read her mind. She is sat in between the boys, a little overwhelmed by their staring.

"Dude stop, your eyes are starting to go bright blue" Mauve exclaims as Sky's vibrant blue eyes turn back into chocolate brown. He scans everyone's mind to make sure no one saw anything and turns back to his puzzled friend.

"Why can't we read her mind? Does she have some sort of disability or mental issue?" Bombarded Mauve with questions to Sky.

"I don't know, now quit it or we'll get a detention!" Sky angrily replied. But the truth is, neither of them concentrated that lesson because of the bafflement that they couldn't read one shy girls mind.
