Those Eyes

Chapter 6

They arrive at a very familiar place. Home. The Colour Kingdom. But it's different. The café is there with the nice Pink lady. The stables were there too, where there were horse riding lessons going on. It was nearly night time because they were trying new Yellow twins to lower the sun and bring up the moon. Sky looks around and sees some children walking around and playing. He goes up to them to greet them, but they seem to be ignoring him. Sky gets up right in between the two children but still nothing.

"They can't see you, not in these memories." Rose giggled out.

"What a pretty little laugh" Sky thinks to himself, but quickly tries to stop thinking as he suspect Rose can hear. This is confirmed when Rose blushes a little.

"That answers that questions" as Sky blushes a little too.

"What's that for?" Rose says with a little grin and starts walking in the direction of the castle.
"You coming, your Highness?" Rose says bowing down. Sky ignores her, rolling his eyes before followinv along. Rose and Sky chase each other to the castle, Rose winning of course. As they approach, Sky stops for a second and looks over his home and sees something strange. Red magic. He goes up to Rose at the top of a wall, staring at the people play with a red ball, he turns to Rose and asks,

"Are they jokers?". Rose shakes her head.

"They were my brother and sister." Rose says with a sad tone in her voice.

"Were?" Sky questions.

Suddenly, out of no where, a Blue comes out and looks like he's about to attack. Rose waves her hand. Then everything paused in a perfect position.

"What's going on? Why is that Blue attacking them?" Sky fires his questions.

"This is what really happened to the Reds." Rose says, waving her hand again, unpausing the scene. The Blue pushes a bright blue blast at the pair. There was an explosion of blue, blinding Sky and Rose. When they looked back, they were gone. The Blue was also gone, but was replaced in the exact position of a Black.

"What happened to them? Why did that Blue just turn Black?"

"They are gone. Forever to the Red Realm. They were murdered in the middle of the day because the Blue leader filled everyone's heads with lies. Everyone thought that if they said the wrong thing we would explode. But they never saw that we were kind, loyal and trustworthy. They didn't see that we were there to protect them from the humans. They didn't see that if we were all really gone, none of them would ever exist ever again. Their powers would be gone and so would our beautiful kingdom. They just saw that our temper sometimes got the better of us. They didn't know that we had literal demons we had to fight everyday." Rose said with tears rolling down her face.

"But why did the Blue turn Black?"

"If you murder another Colour, they turn Black, and they loose their souls. If you stop someone from dying, you turn white, and keep your soul forever." Rose explained, tears rolling down her face.

"I'm so sorry for your loss." Sky said, sympathising with Rose, using his powers to try and ease her pain, but Rose shuts him out. "Why won't you let me help you? Why do you have to be so cold?" Sky said, highly annoyed.

"Fine, I'll show you who made the order." Rose said, collecting herself and bringing them to the Blue leaders home.

"This is my holiday home, why are we here? You said you'll bring me to the person who made the order to kill your brother and sister." Sky said, very confused.

"I did just that. Are you sure you want to see who did it?" Rose said, with a sense of sadness.

"Yes, of course, I'll get my father to send them to the dungeons." Sky said in an all high and mighty way.

Rose gives out a sigh and nods. Around the corner comes a big strong man in the shadows. You could see that he could take down 10 people with one arm. He comes into the light so the two could see the face. But what Sky saw, he would never have been prepared.
