Sky wakes up in a dark and cold place. He looks around to see nothing but darkness surrounding him. He stands up of what seems to be a concrete floor. Suddenly, he here's screaming in the distance in front of him. Quickly, he follows to where the voice is coming from. But as he's starts going in that direction, he hears the same scream, but from behind him. He tries again and again, trying to follow the voice but coming out unsuccessful. He thinks to himself,

"If this is Rose's mind, then it's not going to be as straightforward as it should be " His thoughts are stopped by yet another blood curling scream. He tries and thinks as hard as he can. Sky then has an idea.

"What if she's not here where I am, but in a different place in her mind?"  He then focuses on Rose and only Rose and not the screams in the distance. He concentrates hard and he appears in a large hall type room, but it is too dark to be sure. What he is sure of is Rose, he sees her trying to defend herself, but loosing a hard battle. He looks up to see a giant version of what seems to be Rose, but older, forcing her power onto the tiny Rose. Rose looks up for a split second to see Sky, standing their in terror.

"I told you not to come in!" Rose shouts through her pain of keeping a meek forcefield up to protect her.

"You know I couldn't just leave you, we don't know what's going on with you." Sky says, running towards Rose on the other side of the large hall. As soon as he gets halfway, the power that was on Rose is now in-between her and Sky. It's the giant stopping them from getting near each other.

"You should've listened to your little soul mate. You've practically signed you death sentence young boy!"  The giant booms with anger.

"What have we done to upset you?" Sky asks.

"That's the thing, it isn't necessarily what you've done, but what your father's done!" She says, glaring at Sky. Before anyone could say anything, she lets out a short burst of energy headed towards Rose. It came too quickly for her to stop it. As the blast hits her body, she lets out a terrible scream that would give anyone nightmares. Sky tries and goes over but the giant stops him again.

"Let me help her!" Sky demands this treacherous beast for daring hurt his soulmate.

"And why would I do that? She deserves less help than you do!" She snickers whilst again giving out a short burst, followed by more screams of agony.

"This is why I'm sick outside. She's been hexing me with ancient magic I haven't learnt yet. The cure is in the library upstairs in the complex, but I was too weak to go get it." Rose says, trying to stand up after being wounded by the blast.

"Rose you're bleeding!" Sky exclaims, pointing at the side of her body. Her shirt is drenched in blood, so much so it's dripping.

"I'm fine." She says, stumbling to get on her feet a little. Sky is about to step but hesitates as the giant lifts her hand up, ready to fire.

"You need to get out of here." Rose says.

"But what about you?" Sky asks concerned.

"I'll be fine, get out of here and get me the cure!" Rose orders with as much strength as she has. With that, Sky steps back and concentrates hard on getting back to his body, and with that, he is back to the warmth of the complex.

--------------

Sky looks around, a little disoriented from his journey. He looks at his hands which are covered in blood, he tries to find the origin and finds it on Rose's side, the same side that was wounded in her mind.

"Mauve!" He calls out, hoping to have a little help with his situation. Mauve comes running around the corner frantic and out of breath.

"I couldn't find anything downstairs but this place is so..." He pauses for a moment, looking at Sky's hands and Rose, gushing out blood from a deep wound.

"What happened?" Mauve asks in complete bewilderment.

"There is no time to explain. The library is upstairs. We have to hurry, she needs our help!" Sky says, getting up and heading for the stairs.

"You didn't need to explain the help bit, it's pretty obvious." Mauve says, pointing at the pool of blood growing on the floor.

"There's no time for jokes. If we don't help now..." Sky pauses, not wanting to say what he knows could very much happen. As he shakes his head and climbs up the flight of spiral stairs followed by Mauve.

As they reach the landing, they see a big sign that says 'Library'.

"Well that's not obvious." Mauve jokes again, trying to lighten the mood.

"Come on!" Sky says rushing to the door. He doesn't touch the handle as it will be covered in blood, but instead uses his powers to open it. They walk inside and the library is incredibly big, with rows and rows of books that go all the way to the 10ft ceiling.

"How are we ever going to find the cure in time?" Sky says, feeling a little hopeless.

"Well maybe we can start with the book open that says 'Cure' on the table?" Mauve says sarcastically whilst waking to said table. Sky rolls his eyes and heads towards the book, trying to keep his hands away.

"It seems pretty simple, all you have to say is 'Sano'." Mauve said, baffled by the simple word for such a harsh cause. He rushed down the stairs and gets to Rose's half drained body. Her skin is even more paler than usually and her lips are a deep blue. Her breath is shallow and the pool of blood has doubled in size since they last saw. Sky quickly follows behind and looks at Mauve, waiting for him to fix her. With that, Mauve closes his eyes to concentrate. He starts whispering "Sano" over and over again, hoping it'll work. After Sky gets impatient by it seemingly not working, he sees Rose's lips turn from a frosty blue to a natural red. Her cheeks from snow white to her usually rosy colour. Her wound seems to be healing. As the last of it closes up, Rose lets out a big gasp as she awakes from her slumber. Mauve stops chanting and is thrilled to see Rose alive again. Sky is stood in amusement, not only that Rose is okay, but the fact that his best friend was strong enough to do it. Rose looks around her and sees all the blood on the floor, soaked through the couch and her drenched t-shirt too. Rose chuckles a little, which turns into a giggle, creating a huge out burst of laughter between the three of them.

"Oops." Rose says, only increasing their laughter more.
