Those Eyes

Chapter 12

Sky turns away from Rose to find who is this unfamiliar voice.

"How did you get here?" Sky angrily said with his blue eyes shining very bright.

"I'm sorry but I don't know." Said the other. The 2 girls were standing side by side, terrified of what they saw. Esmeralda goes over to Sky asking him to calm down. His eyes turn back to normal and turns his back to Rose.

"Sorry about all that, but do you mind telling us how you got here?" Esmeralda asks sweetly.

"Well, we were coming from the library and we saw you two rushing into the classroom. We saw this bright red light, so we decided to go and check it out, next thing we know are here, wherever we are." Explains the first girl, looking around at this strange environment.

"I'm Eve by the way and this is my friend Holly." Says the second girl whilst her friend is too busy looking in awe.

Sky looks over at Mauve.

"Really, you couldn't have just brought us here, you had to bring humans."

"Don't be so rude Sky, remember Mauve is still new to his gifts." Esmeralda tells Sky.

"Sorry Mauve, to be fair, they should've all been frozen anyways." Sky apologised.

"Don't worry about it. But what do you mean frozen?" Mauve questioned.

"Remember the first large wave right after you left, that was Rose. She stopped time." Sky exclaimed.

"Is that even possible?" Esmeralda asked.

"I don't know, it's not in any of the books I've ever read." Mauve said confused.

"Um, hello? What's going on?" Asked Holly coming out of her amusement and back into confusion. Sky realised what was happening, glared at the girls and turned back to Rose, trying to read her mind.

"Sorry, again, we are just caught up in our conversation." Esmeralda said, forgetting that they were there.

"What do you mean conversation? You were just standing there and yours eyes kept flashing different colours." A very confused Eve asked.

"Shoot, forgot they were there." Mauve tells the group.

"See, like that. What is it you are doing?" Eve asked, pointing at Mauve.

"Can you guys figure this out later, I can't fully read Rose's mind. It is like there is a barrier, but something is very wrong, I can feel it." Sky interrupts, his hands projecting a deep blue.

"I'm going to try something. You guys might want to stay on the other side of me." Sky says. They all move next to Mauve, Holly and Eve don't know why they did it, they just did. They all stayed very quiet as Sky moves his hands over to Rose's forehead. Quickly, he takes his hand away from her soft head and makes a projection of something. Rose's dream. The look on everyone's face could have been a perfect picture of complete wonder. In her dream, there's a tall, angry and powerful version of what seemed to be Rose. She has crimson red eyes gleaming at someone much smaller and very afraid of this big figure towering over her.

"Do you really think Sky will stay with you?" Booms out a loud, terrifying voice, sending chills down everyone's spines.

"Do you really think that I am controllable? You'll never have your little soul-mate. And if you do, I'll kill him and everyone you love!" With that, a huge power beam is being projected. The smaller person tried with all her might to protect herself. The face was still hidden, but she was struggling to keep it up. But then she turns towards the groups, dying to know who this poor girl is. They weren't expecting it to be someone they all know. It was Rose.
