𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 emery is fiercely loyal, once she makes a friend she doesn't want them to leave her - she's very intelligent and loves to learn, you can always catch her with her nose in a book - she's a strong leader, from her experience as a drum major and being the captain of her basketball team 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 emery grew up with her father (lawrence) and her twin older brothers (patrick "pax" and felix, 24). her mother (may), though not in the picture, still loved her kids, often sending them notes and opening her home to them for long summer breaks (she left when emery was 9). emery's brothers were a big part of her childhood, inviting her to the courts when they would go to play some pick-up games with friends and offering her school and guy advice (whoops). they went off to college when she was 13, to study psychology and criminology, respectively. (felix is engaged to his college sweetheart virginia, while pax is taking things steady with his boyfriend joel.) with the empty house, she could play her records louder. she got good grades and made the varsity basketball team all four years of high school. however, with more free time in denton, emery starting to pay more attention to the weird things going on....and wondering just what was happening... 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄𝐒 basketball, reading, candles, soft thunderstorms, prosecco, warm blankets and socks, 80s music 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄𝐒 cigarette smoke, awful referees, the football team (what a funding competition), flying, dark and silent rooms, sexism/homophobia, the forest at night
