𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 kirk is extremely brave and headstrong, always ready to save a planet under attack: she volunteered to dive down to the romulan drill in an attempt to save vulcan - she is charismatic and charming, able to woo the people she flirts with - she is a highly moral person, even if she clashes with federation regulations at times: she went against starfleet protocol to save her first officer's life once, which almost claimed her captaincy but she felt it was the right thing to do - she is stubborn, she often takes matters into her own hands, sometimes disobeying orders to do what she thinks is best 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 kirk was raised on earth (in iowa) with her older brother sam, her mother winona, and an abusive step-father frank. her father was promoted to captain a mere fifteen minutes from his death (after he saved all 800 crew-members). when she was thirteen, her brother left, and her step-father decided to send her to live on a new federation planet, tarsus iv. it was supposed to be the "perfect planet" with astounding societal value and high-levels of intelligence, but a food crisis lead to the execution of over 2000 colonists, and eventually left just nine survivors, kirk among them. returning to earth, kirk fell into a slump full of ptsd-induced-depression and alcohol. after meeting captain pike a few years later, kirk decided to start fresh and enrolled in starfleet. she saved the enterprise her first-year outside the academy and was promoted to captain of the enterprise after the fact. 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄𝐒 exploring, scotch, late nights on the bridge, adventure, 80s rock, motorcycles, time spent with friends 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄𝐒 flashbacks, strict rules, people doubting her, people who don't give their all, cigarettes, abandonment/being forgotten, unnecessary fighting
