𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 cleo is a gentle soul. she's always ready to care for whoever needs it and is kind to all she meets. she loves a good adventure but is also content with staying inside with a thick pair of socks and her cat. she is well-read and has a plethora of information on just about anything at the ready. 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 cleo was born into the svensson family as prince casper. she grew up with her parents though she rarely spent time with them, aside from family meals and outings. she spent much of her time reading and writing in her room with her tutor and lounging with her cat, salem. as she got older, she began questioning her gender. she didn't feel right in her skin, and she realized that she wasn't supposed to be a boy. when she told her parents, they didn't know what to do; they weren't supportive but they didn't turn her away outright. they talked to their family doctor and sent her off to a small tower in the woods so she could transition in peace and without the prying eyes of the village. as she left, a bag over her shoulder and salem in a travel case, she told them her name is cleo. in the woods, a young man ran into the tower once begging for a hiding spot. cleo threw a dress at him and he changed quickly. they peered out the window as a man in a black hood raced through the woods. he called out to the "two" girls in the tower, asking where the man had gone. they pointed him in a random direction before the man, edward, sighed and stepped back out of the dress. he sat with cleo while she made lunch for them, and they clicked instantly. he ended up staying with cleo and accepting her for who she is. as she neared the end of her hormonal transition, she returned to her family's castle for her top surgery, and edward came with her. she introduced him to her parents and, after he proposed, they stayed together...happily ever after 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄𝐒 cats, reading, fuzzy socks, warm blankets, pressing flowers, making dresses, baking 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄𝐒 weeds, hot weather, being misgendered, crabs, flys, coffee, modern art

𝐄𝐗𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐒 ‣ cleo and her parents reconciled somewhat when she informed them of her marriage (and so they attended) ‣ salem is an american wirehair, and he was a gift from another royal family when the svenssons hosted them
