𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 riley is sensitive with emotions, and his friends often call him a wizard since he always knows just when to reach out. he's an ambivert, but he does love to hang out with his small group of friends (staying in and watching movies or having a game night, of course). he loves to read and write and is almost always his friends' photographer. 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 riley grew up with both parents (juliet and mac) and a younger sister (zoe) in the suburbs. he had a pretty average childhood, playing outside with his sister and learning to paint nails for her. he loved school up until math got harder, and he did his time at the ymca. but he did deal with some emotional issues in middle school (cue depression). he started reading up on self-help and how to reign in dramatic emotions, and it led to him being a "therapist" to his friends and to tumblr. he was given the title of "soft boy" once his friends realized just how emotionally in tune he was...and once he tried to hit on a guy by appealing to his emotions rather than just a booty call. 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄𝐒 oversized sweaters, photography, reading, succulents, coffee shops, writing, warm socks 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄𝐒 assumptions, homophobia, snakes, hot weather, traffic, hot tea, stuffed sinuses
𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐆 the less i know the better, tame impala 𝐐𝐔𝐎𝐓𝐄 "god, you're acting as if you haven't read a self-help book--oh wait."
𝐄𝐗𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐒 ‣ after seeing the impact he can make on his friends' life, riley plans to study psychology and write his own self-help book for others to use (most likely titled "how to be the therapist friend when you are also fucked up" ‣ despite debate, no, his glasses are not a fashion statement, riley just has shitty vision
