Chapter 23

You eventually managed to stop laughing, though a goofy smile remained plastered on your face. You lay on the ground, staring up at the celling as there was nothing to do. You decided to go train. You got up and grabbed your key, walking over to the door of the cell. "Where are you going?" Asked Liang, stopping his pushups that he had been doing in the corner. "Train." He coked his head to the side, "But you can't get out. And even if you could we're on lockdown. There's no way that you could get past all of those guards." You smirked. Upa sighed, knowing what was to come. You didn't quite do what he expected though. You dug through you clothes, grabbing something. "Don't look." You said to them. They turned their heads as you changed into who knows what. The rustling of fabric could be heard over Qi's snoring. You slipped the hat on as a finishing touch. 'Perfect' you think to yourself, smiling. You walked over to the boys quietly. They were sitting next to each other so you walked up to them, pinning their wrists into the handcuffs. "Wha-" they both started to say, but they were interrupted by you. "Officer (f/n), (l/n) reporting for duty!" you said doing a salute. They both stared for a second, "how'd you get- you know what? Never mind." Said Upa, deciding to just give in. "How will you get past all of the passwords and scans?" Liang asked concerned. You shrugged, "I guess you'll have to wait and see." Suddenly, your smile dropped, replaced by a stern grimace (what you referred to as your work face). "Now come on inmates." You said in your work voice, tugging on the cuffs slightly. Though they were surprised by the sudden change, they went along with it. "Inmate 71, wake up." You said startling Qi out of his slumber. "What's happening?" he said while looking around in a daze. You giggled, breaking your stern façade. "Come on, Qi we're going somewhere." "Where?" He asked, walking over. You slammed a pair of handcuffs on his wrist. "You'll see." You forced your stern face back on and began walking out of the cell. You were stopped a few yards from the cell by a guard, "Where are you taking these inmates?" He said, not looking up from his clipboard. "Training ground." You said curtly. At the sound of a female voice, he looked from his clipboard to you. You saw his cheeks go pink. Poor lad probably hasn't seen a girl for months. "U-um-" "If you need, I'll sign into the system to input where I'm going." you said, making the best cute face you could. "No, no it's fine! Go along!" You booped his nose, "Thanks~" you said, winking. "Y-yeah, no problem." He said as you walked away. "What was that?" Asked Upa crossing his arms. You shrugged, "The guards put here because of the lockdown are most likely new bees. They're easy to get by if you turn on a little charm." Upa crossed his arms, huffing before making a pouty face. "you never turn on a little charm for me" he mumbled. You giggled a bit, "Are you jealous again?" "No I'm not." You rolled your eyes. In a few minutes, you made it to the door. You put in the passcode and let the box scan your eyes. The door opened with a pleasant 'click.' You let the trio out of the handcuffs as they walked in. "What's this place?" Asked Liang, looking around in amazement. "It's my training ground. Right here is the meditation area, the actual training ground is over there." You said pointing. He nodded, walking off in that direction. You looked to your right to see Qi sleeping one of the hammocks. "So I see he's found those." You said to yourself. Suddenly the door opened, making you jump. You quickly looked behind you only to find that it was Samon. You let out a breath, "You scared me." He had a cocky smile on his face. You narrowed your eyes at him. "What are you thinking about doing?" He said nothing, only widening his smile. You began to back away as he approached. Pretty soon another person entered the room. Kenshiro. He also had a smirk on his face. "What the-" The door opened again, revealing Kiji, his lipstick covered lips in a smirk. A few seconds later Hajime walked in with the smallest hint of a smirk on his face. All at once they held out a slip of paper to you. You went up to Samon who was the closest and looked at the paper. Your heart dropped. You looked at Kiji's paper. It was the same. Kenshiro's and Hajime's papers were also the same. "You have to accept them, (y/n). You promised~" Said Samon waving the paper at you. "What is it?" asked Liang. You sighed, "For their birthdays I gave them a slip giving them one sparing round. They had all been asking me to spar with them but I never wanted to. And now they all decided to gang up on me." Someone else entered the room. Several someones. "And we're here to watch the show!" Declared Uno, leading Nico, Jyugo, and Rock behind him. You sweat-dropped. "(y/n) dear we've come to see too~!" Called Trois, Honey following after. 'Oh gosh' you thought. You had remembered to take your medicine this morning, so you weren't feeling that bad. And plus once he adrenalin kicked in you wouldn't be scared at all. Then you remembered why you didn't want to spar. These were your friends. You didn't want to slip into one of your flashbacks and ki- hurt them. You looked up at Samon uncertainly. He reassured you with a sweet smile. You let a breath out as you walked to the center of the ground. You tried to ignore your audience. "So who am I going with first?" The supervisors chuckled. They began to circle around you. 'Oh gosh.' You thought sighing. You loosened up your muscles as they got into their positions. The room was silent as everyone waited for the fight to commence.
